  1. Survey- For those with misfire issues

If you’re dead set on this request, I’ll comply, but I think you’re missing the boat a little. I won’t argue that the build info, etc isn’t critical. However, limiting the ability of participants to compare notes, share updates on their progress, and discuss how FCA and dealerships handle...
  2. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Lifters and rocker arms (both sides) didn't fix mine. I hope your results are better.
  3. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Well, I just got a notification that the top end rebuild/replacement was unsuccessful. The truck immediately threw another P0300 code. Perhaps Jeep will do the right thing this time. 39 days in the shop, 53 days of ownership, 7 days of top-off fun times without a code and obvious misfires.
  4. Survey- For those with misfire issues

So I took a few hours and compiled every report & update from this thread onto an excel spreadsheet that I’ll post to the group. I’m gathering info from a few other threads as well. One thing I’m noticing is the number of individuals who never reported back on whether their issues were...
  5. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Same as my situation. Even though my vehicle more than qualifies for a buyback, they won't authorize it because I "haven't given them a fair opportunity" to fix the vehicle. 39 days in the shop now...
  6. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Did you get to keep the vehicle or a loaner during the entire buyback process?
  7. Survey- For those with misfire issues

How would one ever gain access to your service records unless you provide them?
  8. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Do you think we’d get more hits if we called it a check engine / p0300 registry Instead of survey? Could the thread’s name be changed?
  9. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Oof, that's awful small. I really dislike the Charger I'm in, but at least it isn't a clown car.
  10. Survey- For those with misfire issues

So, almost 4 months after buying a Gladiator, you've only driven it 2 days? God I hope they have you in a really great loaner, and are offering something to ease the sting. Is the replacement motor new or remanufactured?
  11. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Wow, what are the chances? I’m on the Facebook group too, and most owners report that their gladiators have been great. Did you get new or remanufactured engines?
  12. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Why do you still have it? It seems like you’d be better served requesting a new one at this point, no?
  13. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Can jeep speak to this assertion? If customer service cannot, can someone with technical knowledge assist?
  14. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Well said. You will find few automotive brands with the almost fanatical following that Jeep has. I’ve personally owned 4 Jeeps and a Chrysler. I grew up driving my dad’s ā€˜95 grand Cherokee that we punished for 300K miles. The fanboys tell me to stop bellyaching, because problems are a ā€œJeep...
  15. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I’m at day 20 at the dealership service station. They’re saying that they had an ah-ha moment , and noticed that the hydraulic tappets aren’t getting consistent oil pressure. They’re ordering parts for a top end rebuild. We’ll see. I’m still not loving the situation. I have owned the...
  16. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Ask questions about the engine. I was told by customer service that they replace with remanufactured engines...so you get another problem motor that couldn’t make it a year down the road swapped into your Jeep. Unacceptable!
  17. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Milestone reached: 50% of the time I’ve owned this vehicle has now been shop time. 26 days owned, 13 days at the dealership.
  18. Survey- For those with misfire issues

So far no reports after March on this forum.
  19. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Based on the success rate I’m seeing on this forum, I’m guessing I’ll be in the same boat shortly. I’m personally going to give them another shot. I’ve driven Jeeps all my life and they’ve always been great vehicles. The Pentastar is a proven engine. I think we were all part of a bad batch...
