Looking for recent pics. and/or reviews of HARD /SOFT 'shells' -- need to figure out a better overnight setup on the beach. Tailgate down...will jerry-rig something if needed to 'minimize' condensation inside the shell -- usually sleep 11pm-4amish .. then FISH.

Heavy box - angled front lip - PVC clamped - 8ft/10ft rods. Drive 2+ hrs. on highway -- i sometimes run a bungee above reel seats (eye hooks on side of box) to *firm* them so tips dont rub if they squirm a bit - ps: i dragged that box out of a NJ river...double score

1. I wish i knew THIS 2 DAYS AGO...BEFORE I bought. I thought -- she sways a bit -- maybe it is windy, I'm not used to driving a JEEP, etc....but I guess the 'sway' is an issue.... ugh. Say it ain't so!!! 2. That dang inside 'door hinge' is a HASSLE!
