I just got off the phone with BulletProof Diesel and if there are any people in the Mesa, AZ or SouthWest region that have the means to allow them to take a look at their vehicle this is something they are very interested in helping us find a solution for.
I'm all about looking for companies...
Bulletproof Diesel Response:
Hello C,
Thank you for taking the time to write in.
We appreciate the information and will be actively looking for a Jeep to look at and see what can be done. We will keep you informed if there is anything we can do to help with this.
Again thank you for the...

That sound like the same thing the Ford techs used to say to people complaining about their 6.0 overheating and knowing that it was related to an insufficient oil cooling system. "It's in parameters." lol
Looks just like a 6.0 Powerstroke issue. Engine oil temps are driving up coolant temps and overloading the systems. Looks like we all need to flood BulletProof Diesel and Mishimoto for solutions.
Yep that would be up BulletProof or Mishimoto's ally. I have a guy here in the Bay Area that has the ability to scan housing parts like this and add ports where needed but not the time to tackle the job. Used them to make a custom cold side neck for a Miata motor that I was running a remote...
Thermostat! I'm not reading through 12 pages. Current EPA regs are forcing the engineers to run the vehicles hotter to achieve the lowest NOx levels. With any vehicle that tows this is counter productive to engine components. Especially due to once you add load the cooling system is already...
Last week I was running late and didn't realize that I had an appoint so far away and had to drive rather fast since my destination was over an hour and half away. Holy *#^% the EcoDiesel is the mill the Wrangler/Gladiator platform always needed. Unlike the V6 these things flat out move down...
Well I goofed up on the offset IMO. Didn't properly research and realize that the offset was so extreme on the JL/Gladiator platform and tires stick out more than I like. I might swap out to AEV Pintler down the road powder coated white. As far as the white wall wheels I am absolutely in love...
I have a few 3.9L that are a legit mill, but the newer offerings from Cummins were engineered and designed with the anti-science tree huggers at the EPA. The 2.8L GM offers that was also a similar design to the VM in the Jeeps, as well as GM's new LM2 3.0L are legit diesel mills.
Tesla's sales are artificial bud. They spend 2-3 years banking deposits then manage their production to create artificial demand. Even with that Tesla sales are not record breaking at all. Tesla owners are more of a Cult than a segment.
I've been a Ford guy my entire life but the last decade I'm absolutely done with their Planned Obsolescence Eco-joke propaganda. I tried owning 2 of them and they were absolute piles of trash. The acceleration is just a gimmick to get people to buy them. For my daughter I went to the GM...
Does anyone purchase 392's, 7.3L F250's, or 6.2L Gm's for the fuel economy? No they are the optional purchases because they are for more capable than the base options. With diesel it is just an added benefit that it is the most efficient means of propulsion. The added savings in fuel cost was...
Look it is not unanimous. There are people that conform and people that don't. I have never quit buying diesels. Some are deleted some are compliant. Anyone that purchased a 6.4L for example will define all emissions diesel as not to buy. Pretty ignorant cause it was that mill specifically that...
200k miles 3.31 gear on 37" tires and it does ranch duty often. Just got back from a round trip from Cali to Texas and back. Mobbed through 2' of snow pack to go around all the traffic and dodge all the semi stuck in the middle of the road. These newer transmissions do not need lower gears...
Going straight to talking smack? Way to show your maturity level. Been running Icon since it was Donahoe Racing and ran Carli's 2nd ever made Dominator kit right after they left Kore to start Carli and the kit still came with weld on bump stops, before they went to making more street worthy...
They aren't really known in the GM sommunity either yet I am running a Stage 4 on my daughter's Canyon and it rails with Raptors all day long. Most fun and comfortable ride quality I've had from any manufacturer whether in my SuperDuty's or the Canyon. I've destroyed my fair share of Kings...
I am having the Icon Stage 7 installed on mine before I even pick it up. Metal Cloak and others make great kits but I'm all about the absolute best ride possible and IMO that is always hands down Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspensions.
Range on the Wrangler EcoDiesel is over 500 miles with a smaller tank as opposed to the gas Wrangler's 406. Yes some of the efficiency has been engineered out of the cycle to meet NOx emissions. NOx is the by product of a more efficient combustion cycle. Hence anything using forced induction...
