I always run a full size spare if I can. We travel across west Texas a lot. It can be a long way to travel to a tire store. I found a matching OEM wheel and bought a spare 37" tire. Fits perfectly under the bed. The size difference was too much for me to leave the factory 33" tire under the...
We have had the RSE steps on the Gladiator since May. We love them. Zero complaints with them at all.

Not sure what your question is, but they seem to be very backed up with Covid going on. We ordered our shade on June 10th and it just shipped on Monday July 20th. They have been good about keeping us informed of delays through email. Still haven't received our order though.
Was your setup too short to separate out on 3 different pads? I would be curious to see what your actual axle weights were. I just ran across the scales last week without a trailer and weighed in at 6600 lbs. (2880 steer 3720 drive). Drove it from New Mexico to SE Texas with a strong cross...
They only make noise when going up and down. They are very solid steps/sliders with no loose movement at all. It is just a very mechanical noise. It doesn't bother me or my wife.
The sliders come with a switch to turn them off. When I cleaned them I opened a door on each side and then flipped the switch to off. In the off position they then stay down when you close the doors so you can clean them.
That said, they hold quite a bit of mud. My actual step surface was...
I just installed one on our JTR a couple weeks ago since the Mopar hitch was backordered until September..
Just stick a flat head screwdriver up through the nutsert and push the fish wire up. Once you push up on the fish wire the bolt and washer will slide right past the nutsert. Piece of...
We have put just under 3000 mikes on our Falken AT3W's in the last couple weeks and we really like them. We have had them on the highway, sand, rock and mud. So far I am impressed.
I realize this is old, but we love ours. I love that they are full length and width from the flares. Keeps a bunch of junk off the doors. In this pic you can kind of compare how much mud would have likely been on the sides based off behind the rear tire.
They are noisy. It doesn't bother...
I'd like to add the RSE steps also help keep a lot of the mud/junk off the sides and doors. We went through a lot of mud today and this was all that got up on the doors.
We are pretty pleased with our RSE step sliders. We have had them a little less than a month so no word on durability. They do kiss the rear fender flares when flexing the suspension, but that doesn't bother me. I love the extra side protection and the step perfectly splits the entry height...
Since Friday...installed a 2" lift, swapped tires to 37x12.50x17 Falkens, tracked down a set of factory wheels to have a matching spare, installed Rock Slide Engineering steps and finally drove it. I guess technically I did this all to my wife's Gladiator.
I fit my new Falken Wildpeak AT3W 37x12.50x17 on a stock Rubicon granite crystal wheel at 37 psi in the stock spare location. I also do not have the tow receiver. Not sure how much difference that makes.
