Unless you are blasting through whoops at 100mph I really don’t think you’ll have an issue. Most of the dudes that run those have fiberglass bedsides for tire clearance and no tailgate so they need a little something extra to hold it together.

I tried to mount a 1up to the mopar cargo rails with a 90 degree bracket but the bed sides are far too flexible so the bikes moves more than I’m comfortable with. You need some sort of crossbar for support for it to work.

Is it a huge pain to take the wheel off to transport? I am looking for ways to use my 1up tray. Love being able to just throw it on and be done.
