It could be there is a lot of conflicting dates and information out there on the Bronco. I will say your right that if Ford doesn't get it out this year they are hurting themselves. I did read it was something like 6 removable panels to make an open air roof design but that they are not making a...
It is speculated the Bronco may be released at Detroit auto show but production isn't supposed to start until 2020 and it is being released as a 2021 so Jeep will have plenty of time before the bronco is available to be purchased. Detroit is total speculation at this point, plus there are going...
I don't know if sales would be in trouble, I currently drive a ram 1500 and would be purchasing a new ram 1500 if they hadn't released the Gladiator. I wouldn't have even considered the Tacoma or the ZR2, I'm sure I'm not the norm but I would stay in a full size if it wasn't for the Gladiator.
I disagree, as you said the wrangler just about has it's own market niche with no competition. I believe the Jeep Gladiator is the same, no competition. You can argue that the Tacoma is competition but then I could argue that the 4 runner is Jeeps competition. I believe the Gladiator is going to...
You could be right, I personally will be ordering a JT (Gladiator) Rubicon soon after they are available to order. However something to think about is Marchionne came out and said a lifestyle vehicle that will be intentionally expensive and 100k a year this was his vision. I haven't seen where...
I'm not concerned about it being the first year because like everyone else said it's a JL. I'm not buying the diesel because I live at the beach and doesn't make since for me, If I were I would be little concerned with it or the 2.0LT engine. I'm sure at some point there will be a problem, I...
I'm completely ok with a 5ft bed on the Gladiator. I have a RAM 1500 now with w 5.5ft bed. I use my truck but I can do everything I need to do with a 5ft bed. Could it mean that I have to make an extra trip every now and then, yeah but it will be in a Jeep top off having a good time. This truck...
$49,240
But who knows what the dealerships will do as far as mark up goes. I took my wife to drive a JLUR this weekend and the dealer had a $3k mark up on them. I wouldn't ever pay a mark up but will be interesting to see what they try and do.
The Cheapest used AEV Brute I found on Rubitrux.com is $75k didn't have the HEMI and is a 2013 model no warranty most are above $87k and into 6 figures for a used Brute. Would be interested to know what AEV did a much better job at being that we don't have a production vehicle to compare to.
No one know's what the price of the Gladiator is going to be but my best guess is that a Rubicon with a handful of options will probably cost more than $48k. I hope I'm wrong but looking at the price of the JL Rubicon I don't think I will be, my guess most of the Rubicons will be over the $50k mark.
Wouldn't surprise me if they are not close to or a spin off of the new 2019 Ram 1500 tail lights, especially if they are planning on a mid-size ram in the future.
Also thanks for posting the video!

No not saying they stepped up on their own, I said " finally stepping up". No matter what the reason at least it's getting fixed and can be addressed in the future and they are checking all the jeeps to ensure it's not a problem.
Definitely feel bad for all the JL owners out there, but glad Jeep is finally stepping up to get them fixed. As for the Gladiator, shouldn't have to worry since they haven't started production yet, should be able to be addressed and not cause any issues.
