That sucks you should go back up there to the person and show them a picture before they were opened, and let them know you will be ordering you Gladiator from the other dealership.
Do what I did go get a second one I have one that I opened and one that I kept sealed and put away. I'm sure there is more than one Jeep dealer around you. I got my second one because my wife went and got one and gave it to me.
Not a horrible video but he needs to get his facts straight. I mean I know that a lot of us have read what more on the Gladiator then we care to admit but if your going to make a video at least no the specific numbers.
I like the way you think, I'm just worried that Jeep will have taken this into account and when you choose the Max Tow package it will drive the price up to within a couple thousand of an equally equipped Rubicon.
I have been in talks with my dealer to see if I could get something worked out for a group buy or set pricing on the Gladiator. They are not opposed to the idea but of course are not going to give me any numbers until pricing is released. I did get my wife's JLUR for around 5% under invoice so...
Like others have said this is incorrect, you can special order a vehicle and get the options you want, below is a list of codes that when you ordered a new JL Wrangler allowed you to track it through the build process. As a matter of fact the some of the first JL's that showed up on dealers lots...
You are correct I'm not saying they are going to build 200k of them but I think more than 100k. Not sure why they moved from the JK line could be numbers but in 15 and 16 they built over 200k JK's. I know one of the reasons was they didn't want to have an interruption so they built a new plant...
Jeep has already swayed from what Sergio said, He also said there would only be 2 trims for the Gladiator as well. Jeep knows that they hav e something special which is why it'c going to come in 4 different trim levels, Having that many already tells you they are going to build more than 100k of...
I would just put the groceries in the bed of the truck under the bed cover or put them in the floor of the backseat like I did with my Ram 1500. You could be right about it falling on its face but then again there were people who thought the 4 door wrangler would do the same.
I was able to get my hands on 2, the first I got before I bought my wife her new JLUR (went in to buy a Grand Cherokee) 2 days ago. Then when we closed the deal she said she wanted one. So I have one that I opened and one to keep wrapped. Side note, was told by my dealer he can take orders on 1...
So went tonight to get rid of the Ram 1500 and Charger Scat Pack and get my wife the Grand Cherokee. This is in preparation to get a the Gladiator for myself. So instead of the Grand Cherokee we end up leaving with a JLUR (her choice) for her instead. Guess were going to have a a JLUR and a...
Getting rid of my 16 Ram 1500 Sport and my wife's 17 Charger ScatPak, She is getting a new Grand Cherokee and I will be driving my 2001 Cherokee Sport until I can order the late availability colors.
This may be with some dealers but with there are dealers that will flash for you, MOPAR offers the 2" lift and beadlock wheels as well as putting the larger tires on. I have ready in the JL forums of dealers flashing.
If you could get the dealer to do it would be expensive, I would take it to get it wrapped that way it's the color you want (plus cheaper) and when/ if you ever get rid of it you don't have to deal with possible depression for it not being original color. Just take the wrap off and the paint...
Front AEV bumper should fit no problems I don't know about the rear bumper. The rear bumper on the rubicon is steel, my plan is get the regular front bumper and upgrade to the AEV front bumper. I will run the steel rear bumper until AEV has one that will work.
