I only see the 3.73 axle and no mention of the max tow package so I'm going to say 4000 pounds. It's best to check by VIN to get the most accurate capacities for your truck - you can check vin.com or generalrv.com/towing-capacity. Trailer Life, Camping World. and State Farm used to have tools as...
not sure if I read part of your post wrong, but there's a small firewall hole available on the driver's side - the wires will be right above the brake pedal to the left a bit. I ran my GMRS power and antenna thru it.
I have a 23 Overland that I put air bags in to stop the butt sag when I tow my sub-compact Kubi TLB - my total weight is just under 5k with it, attachments, the trailer and 15 gallons of fuel. It can be a little stiff if I forget to let some air out when I'm not towing, but other than that, no...
I live outside of Tampa and I never get alerts here - even when a hurricane passes over my house, but if I go up North, it seems pretty accurate to the location I'm in.
true - preconceptions can become a hurdle.
I invested in Atlas a few years ago and signed up for an XT because I wanted their electric pickup and they were the only ones at the time with a 1.5Mw DC fast charger - they beat Tesla to market by about 18 months.
Next I waited for the ID.Buzz...
diesel gets 28 to 31 mpg if I'm easy on it - 21 when I'm not - and 15ish with most trailer loads. Just under 500 miles range with highway/easy to about 250 with a trailer and a lot of wind.
With 250 (advertised) mile range, I'd have to hit a charge point going from Tampa to Miami - and...
My Jeep only sits for a few days at a time, but I have a boat with a Yanmar diesel and we only use it every 2 or 3 months so we had problems a couple of times with the fuel and clogged filters. Since then I've used both Sea Foam and Diesel Kleen w/o issue so those would be what I'd recommend.
I've never heard of either of those, but I had UHAUL install hitches on a couple of cars and a Nissan Frontier - never had a problem.
Good luck with your move!
for the tailgate, maybe make it an inward swinging "door" like the ones found in walk-in tubs? those seal based on the pressure pushed against them but yours could click into place to make a water tight seal.
let's not be overly dramatic and cause a panic!
1. Air bags don't cause dangerous situations. They're just another tool in a toolkit.
2. Air bags lift the rear to level the vehicle and trailer. Used correctly, they provide better balance.
3. A WDH will also correct rear end sink and will also...
I wasn't implying that they did. I just said it corrects the squat.
I tow a sub-compact tractor on a trailer to maintain different properties I own. Total weight is about 3500 most of the time. If I need the back-hoe attachment and/or the brush hog, it can get up to 5k so I'm well under the 6k...
