I use cardboard but that’s exactly what I do. Am trying to avoid the mess of the filter dribbling all over the frame rail and the foil coated lines when removing the filter.
Thanks for the tip!
Anyone have tips on keeping the left over oil in the filter housing from getting everywhere during an oil change?
Can only stuff so many shop towels underneath to catch everything and I still end up missing some.
Any tips?
Used Krown for years on all my cars. Generally wherever it’s not sprayed, I go over it afterwords myself.
All you’re doing with the oil spray is making a barrier between the air and metal. Any oil spray as long as it stays on will work. I go for a respray every 6 months And have not had...
Is there any tips or something to put in between fender flares and the front fenders to help keep pine needles out?
I use compressed air to blow them out but some of them get jammed in there. Last thing I want is them building up, collecting moisture and rubbing through the paint. Would a...
Recently traded my 2020 rubicon 6MT with about 30000kms on it for a nearly identical 2021 diesel.
My first impressions of the 3.6L were that it was pretty fun to drive but was a little twitchy at times with the manual transmission. A field mouse LOVED the battery box last winter…He was evicted...
I have been watching a lot of videos on the topic but curious to know how to tackle driving manual while off road.
I am not new to manual transmissions but am curious to know if there are any recommended guides and ways to practice. I managed to get myself stuck in the snow with all 4 wheels...
It’s no sports car feeling but it’s certainly day/night in comparison. The biggest change is the lack of wandering after any sort of slight bump and the steering slop is gone.
Hope yours gets sorted out soon!
Got the call from the dealer the part was in this past Monday and booked in for Thursday morning (today). 3hrs later all done and ready for pick up.
The deadspot is gone and it no longer wanders. Steering feel is a little lighter than before but so far feels and tracks a lot better than...
I've had this issue for the majority of my fill ups since I've taken possession of my Gladiator. Been to many different gas stations and different nozzle types in all sorts of temperatures. I always stop on the first click and avoid any sort of top off.
The only common factor was the way I...
Had a good experience with my local dealership (not the one I bought from as that was over 3 hours away). Service advisor was pretty adamant that this was not really a problem and chalked it up to "that it's a Jeep thing" only because one of the sales team had driven a JT from another dealer...
