Still have the original clutch in my TJ at 160,000 miles. Modern automatics are better for towing and easier for off-roading. That said, I wouldn't buy a vehicle that doesn't have a clutch peddle. I'd rather tool around in a manual Spark than an automatic( :puke:) Corvette.
