It goes without saying almost all of us want a Hemi in the JT and arguably Jeep should have made it an option out of the gate... unless you're in the camp that believes the Pentastar is adequate and adequate is good enough. Personally, I'm in the Tim the Toolman Taylor school of thought...
Listen here, bub, if there's one thing I've learned in the past few decades of the intertubes is that if it's online, it's absolutely, unequivocally truthy.
Agree entirely. The heat cycling is usually what destroys the plastic. Not that I'm saying composites are bad- but there's too many wildly variable scenarios in a road vehicle that one engine design could see in say, 30K vehicles in a year is an unnecessary risk when a simple metal impeller...
To this day I cannot understand why the hell any manufacturer insists on a plastic impeller water pump.
It is not like there's decades of other manufacturers trying it and finding out the hard way no matter what the composition of the plastic is, it will fail prematurely and regularly at that...
I thought the same about the shade and lack of pop up when I saw it on DRC's channel. But I wouldn't say it's crude, it appears to be built pretty well.
I came here to post that. :CWL:
I can't decide which is my favorite part: when he beats the shit out of the fender with a hammer, "smooths" it with a giant angle grinder, or sprays it 3" off the hood and right over the Buick badge. Honorable mention to the gratuitous cleavage shot.
I'm in the minority here but the sun roof is always open if the weather permits and the shade pulled back if it isn't in every car I've ever owned that has one unless its absurdly hot and sunny.
Given Jeep's previous "leadership" not doing diddly squat but jack prices, I'm still a little...
Always the way it is.
I had replaced my windshield on my e46 due to a stone being kicked up at speed and scaring the crap out of me from the sound as it cracked across the whole thing.
Not 1 day after it was replaced, I was heading into PA from MD on i70 and a truck kicked up a rock and...
@ShadowsPapa
Curious: can GG be patched/filled like typical laminated windshield glass? I ask because State Farm will cover filling the hole before it becomes a crack multiple times for free under my policy, and then its $150 or $200 (can't recall) to replace it outright with OEM.
I hope you're right- and the Convoy's M715-inspired grille looks so much better than any of the aftermarket ones I've seen.
It looks like not only is the hood longer but also taller with an additional vent between the top of the grille/rad support and vents between the grille and bumper.
Has...
I'm only speculating because the Hurricane is assembled in MX.
