Not to drag this thread on⦠but⦠I have to say that the torque wrench I bought has been a solid investment. I use it more than I thought - very useful when rotating my wifeās tires, helped a neighbor with his engine rebuild project, etc. Heck, I used it several times over the last week alone...
Seems to be a common theme - the Jeep dealerships in my area seem to be equally incompetent. I have dealt with everything from dealer damage to interior trim and bodywork repairs due to mechanic carelessness; poor ability to diagnose issues (9 months to isolate and fix a cel and rough idle)...
I experienced the same thing. I shopped around and found my current carrier was cheapest by a huge margin (to the tune of 3k/year cheaper). When I asked about the pricing difference I was told it was due to the cost of body shop repairs and the overall price of the vehicleā¦

I moved to east Texas from central Texas a couple of years ago. Not a lot of wheeling opportunities here⦠The fun of the vehicle died out and I canāt justify the added costs to maintain and drive it. I make good money, but not two car money! š
