  1. Ammo box bed toolbox project

..another derailed thread. I like your ammo can solution. Cost effective and practical. Hard to read on my phone - Is it a .50 cal can? I have been planning to attach a couple on the unistrut rails, under my Diamondback Cover. It's been over a year and I never got around to it. Hope...
  2. Anyone else wonder if this would work for a Gladiator? And yes its Aluminum w/ dual swingout.

Correct(ish) :) Moment increases (Moment = mass x distance). The distance from the the axle and the ground plays heavily.
  3. DiamondBack Covers | General Thread

I see you had other replies. Just thought I would also mention I don't have Teraflex rails either but I made mine with SuperStrut from Home Depot. It's been holding perfectly for 3+ years.
  4. Options to replace halogen headlights

I definately like the stock look of the DV8 more than the other one. For myself, I installed Oracle Oculus LED headlights and Morimoto sequential LED turn signals. I live in the snow belt and have not had any issues with the Oracle lights...3 winters so far. I used my Tazer JL/JT Mini to...
  5. Fox Problem Or Shock Surplus Problem??

@DivrGuy I can't help you with your shock question. I just wanted so say hi, from one diver to another who both also, apparently, appreciate the Gladiator. Cheers!
  6. Truck bed storage

I use a Diamondback Cover. My whole bed is a metal lock box. :) The only thing I added is a quick DIY of 2x8's to secure my scuba gear from rolling around. The sections work well for securing anything else that fits too.
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed Morimoto Gen2 Smoked LED sequential turn signals and side markers, on Saturday.
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

A few months ago some wonderful citizen tagged me in my office parking lot. It's a multi business parking lot and I'm sure it wasn't a co-worker. Anyway, I had been waiting for a good reason and justification to change it. I had been searching for a Mopar take-off for months and then a good...
  9. Interior molle panel✅

I have a Bestop Sunrider soft top and it has a plastic bracket with 2 bolts to fasten the soft top to the jeep. I'm wondering if one of these overhead molle panels will work (connect at the rear) with a Sunrider soft top already installed?
  10. Topper

I like the Bestop Sunrider. Its a high quality product. It's very nice to open and close the roof in a few seconds.
  11. What will they think of next .

I wondered the same. The spec weight is 13lbs (shipping weight) for a pair. If one of these is 5 or 6lbs (empty) that could be quite a deadly projectile in a head-on collision.
  12. Center Console & Bed 12v outlet Install

Here's a simple solution for the back, depending on your needs and frequency of use. I don't have or use one. I just figured that these days, somebody out there makes an adapter for just about everything. This is what a search turned up. Trailer 7 Pin to 12v Adapter
  13. Tazer , tire size change not effective for speedo

Re: Lights - Yes I needed a programmer. Like many , my Oracle Tail Lights didn't work right with the provided resistor and I would need more resistors added. For me the reverse lights would not work and the red lights were flickering. Then the right tail light went out completely. All cases...
  14. Tazer , tire size change not effective for speedo

Thanks for the tips...appreciated I have tried a few programmed tire sizes and my phone was not connected by usb. I also use the GPS in my Garmin Fenix 7x. Who knows, maybe all these GPS devices are wrong. :) The weirdest part is, before I got the Tazer the difference was only ~2kph, driving...
  15. Tazer , tire size change not effective for speedo

Hi, I have a new Tazer JL mini. Updated immediately to firmware 11.4 4. I bought it for many of it's features but initially for changing standard tail lights to LED tail lights (Oracle). I also use about 10 more of the vehicle and live settings. Before I get to far I'll let you know I always...
  16. Oracle Flush Mount Taillight Install

I did what is shown in this video and the lights fit more flush. (I used some wire/side cutters though )
  17. My Custom JL Rubicon Overland Camper Build - Refuge II Camper

Hi Dan, I have been a subscriber since I bought my first Jeep wrangler in 2018. Now I also have a JT. It's fun to watch your adventures. I enjoy listening to you explain your reasoning and why you do things the way you do. It's nice to see someone put thought into things and not just do what...
  18. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

Did your JT originally have base or LED lights? Did you need to use a programmer like jscan/tazer? Thanks.
  19. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

The cover of the box they come in reads, as a highlight, "compatible with base and led packages" The box does not say you need a jscan, tazer, resistors, etc. Why on earth would one expect to buy or do anything extra for them to function? I filled out their service help form. We'll see what...
  20. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

I bought them from partsengine.ca. The lights have a 3 part harness. 1. Main lighting connector 2. vehicle warning/sensor connector, and 3. a resistor which is connected, as I am replacing OEM Halogens with these Oracle lights. I will be putting my OEM lights back in today. I will reach out...
