the hood lock? Yeah, 6 clips pop the grille off and it rivets into 4 existing holes perfectly.
you will need a bigger rivet gun. I got one at harbor freight, 24.99 in a red and white box. I did have to squeeze each rivet 3-4 times before they popped but they are rock solid.
It attaches to the engine frame with 4 rivets. It isn’t coming off easily. Those rivets are beefy the “nail” portion of the rivet is about the size of a 16d nail.
The peace of mind alone was worth it. Kind of hoping it eliminates the hood flutter above 70 too.
the 25$ rivet gun from harbor freight was useful too lol. (The one in the red white box was a perfect fit)
Gotta file off the plastic a bit but overall I’m very happy!
Dealers have the ability to search other dealer inventories. They can search by features too. That’s how I found mine. My dealer(not everyone will do this). Made a dealer trade and sold them a truck and bought mine from the dealer that had my jeep.
My dealer actually does this a lot. I...
that goes without saying, it is still on them to prove any mod i did caused damage.
tbh for larger stuff i have the dealer install it. they will be doing my lift, and possibly my exhaust(since i dont have a welder to tack it). I actually trust my dealer. Helps that ive known one of the...
indeed I do. The whole point of my first post was that the combo in the video gives a near factory quality ride with almost no change in vibration.
Let me help you out.
congress made it a law that dealer must prove your part caused the failure...
replacing a component with a non mopar will void that warranty, on that part. If that part causes damages to another part the dealer must prove it to void the warranty.
I’ve had this same convo with my dealer, that was their answer.
As for tires voiding a warranty, same as above.
I plan to...
hahaha my only problem with Chinese stuff, like these lights is they tend not to be reliable. I’ve run into a lot of car stuff that fails after weeks and months.
I like these lights, the reviews on Amazon aren’t great.
Saw these taillights today, wondering if anyone can ID them.
I know it’s a wrangler, lots of parts cross over, or maybe that company makes them for the JT.
they have progressive led’s for brake and turns.
White matte will look pretty good! I do 4-5 coats of color, thin let it sit about 20 mins and paint again. then 3-4 coats of clear(also thin coats).
painting these is really the best method, the gloss coat they put on the plastic makes them look cheaper than they are.
As of now, i've...
