I'm not saying it's not an issue or problem but I'm suprised the dealer is even looking at the issue because many have this problem and being told it's normal. Softopper delivered... question on utility clamps
I have the solution, place spacers behind the rails where the bolts are so they come out to the point the clamps will work. Goodluck.- SelfmodJT

Lol, dont drive around like that. Obviously you ordered or they sent you the wrong clamps. It looks like they work fine if you didnt have the utility rails installed. Call them and ask them to send you the right brackets. Nvm, I didnt notice that you had the lowes rails. You will have to modify...- SelfmodJT
