I like the design of these new ones (non-blindspot), but not in love with the way the printed lenses look.
BUT... I keep going back and comparing to your original set... :) I'm liking that one more I think, more original looking (like you said, the new ones keep getting close to oracle)
Couple of things... tinkering around with cool stuff I find on thingiverse/reddit, I come across stuff all the time for me or the fam or gifts that I wish I could make (bookshelf brackets, video game toys, neat plant vases, headphone holders, etc.)
AND maybe more importantly my son played...
@Justinswidebody Thanks... I just spent $700 because of you, I've been wanting to get into 3d printing and you just convinced me to buy a P1P...
I told my wife it's your fault!
Let me know if you have any suggestions on good resources for learning :)
I might not know what I'm talking about... but I would think there would be sheets of lens material that would be easier to cut than to 3d print... would lenticular sheet work or could there be something similar?
I've seen a bunch of post & yt vids about fender chop/split with kits that have brackets with LED replacements or no lights at all, but I haven't come across a chop that would retain the factory LEDs... is there nothing like that or did I miss it in my search?
Thanks!
I just did Turkey Bay last week (Tuesday the 4th) and delivered today (the 14th)!!!
It's our first one and I told my wife last week "oh I wouldn't expect it any time soon, everyone on the forums says it takes forever" So... very pleasantly surprised!
BTW got turned around on some of the crazy...
Did you have halogens before? Did you use jscan/tazer to change them to LED? Then instructions say you don't have to, but that's the only way I got mine to stop blinking...
maybe this one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
