Might fit the bed but would not even come close to lining up with the cab. The front might slant too far forward to even allow it to mount. Here's the SnugTop on the Canyon I traded for the Gladiator:
Sorry, I do not have photos of the underside of the floor. I took it out last weekend to install risers on the front passenger seat and could have taken some then...but had no reason to do so at that time. Basically, I cut a 50.5" x 27.5" piece of plywood, laid it in the back and carefully...
The floor is half-inch plywood with some 1x4 along the bottom of the back edge to bring it up to the right level and along the driver's side edge for bracing. There are three 2x4 legs attached with metal L-brackets...two near the front corners and one near the center. This is the carpet I...
You will need an E14 torx socket. I could not find one anywhere in Moab but was able to locate a set of the female torx sockets at an auto parts store in Grand Junction.
I bought an impact wrench strictly to remove the bolts on the back seat in my JKUR, but the bolts on the JT seats were much...
It appears they are now made with tempered automotive glass, not acrylic. I'm seriously considering these for the winter...already have the Sunrider for the other 3 seasons.
I've run BFGs almost exclusively for 30 years or more (KO, KM, KO2, KM2). They have always been my tire of choice, until I got the Gladiator with the Falkens. The BFGs, while not too awfully noisy when new, were horribly noisy as they got older...even though they were always faithfully rotated...
Sorry, you are correct. I sometimes forget that any yahoo can buy a drone and not be subject to some of the regulations that govern pilots who actually know what they are doing. That appears to be changing though. Recreational pilots will soon have to pass a basic Knowledge Test. It's a...
If mine were on the recall list, I would not risk taking a trip like that before having it repaired. I've been into The Maze numerous times (most often before they even started requiring reservations) and it is about as remote as you can get in the lower 48. I usually went down the Flint Trail...
Viewable area on the JT windshield is less than 16 inches tall. If this light bar is 2" tall (I don't see dimensions listed in the specs), it blocks at least 1/8 of the view out the windshield. I will believe this does not light up the dash or the hood when I see it. I have yet to see any...
I made the floor out of materials I already had. I didn't measure the plywood but I think it is 1/2"...with some 1x4 bracing. It's plenty sturdy. It does not flip up. I have no need for it to do so but you could certainly build it that way or put doors in it like I had in the JK floor. Here...
Whew...I think I dodged the bullet thanks to the delay associated with the steel bumper. My VIN shows no recall and the door tag states 7-19 for the build date. It was ordered in April with the grease option.
That is, without a doubt, one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen. Not only would it block a good portion of an already small windshield, it would also light up your hood and your dash.
FYI...the gigantic (maybe 10 acres?) vendor display will be Thursday and Friday, April 9-10. I expect to see a ton of new Gladiator accessories this time around. That has always been my favorite part of Safari week. I stay off the trails that week unless on a rescue. Jeep usually has their...
I waited 2 years for Snugtop to come out with a shell for the then-new GMC Canyon/Colorado. I'd be surprised if the major manufacturers don't eventually produce shells for the Gladiator.
Personally, I don't like the look of body-colored fenders. The black fenders are easier to replace and look great with the black top. Plus they look more rugged/Jeepish.
Must haves in my book:
Aux. switches (best thing since sliced bread if you intend to add electrical accessories)
LEDs (or...
