Here's my build so far. 35/12.5/17 Maxxis Razer MT tires, 2.5 inch front/1 inch rear, long travel suspension lift, XRC Gen 1 bumper, Flashtech fog lights, and decals made by yours truly. Next after getting more money, tube doors, bed cover, and maybe a soft top for summer time.

My god! I guess I'll never be a true off roader then, cause I would never do this to my truck! for one too expensive, two don't have a lot of money. Maybe if I was filthy rich or was on a team with a sponsor to buy me another everyday driver. lol

After 2 hours, $200 in tools, and a lot of curse words later, I ripped the old bumper off and added the beefy XRC Gen 1 bumper and fog lights. Love the look, but not so much the weight addition of the bumper. But oh well, the 4.10 gears still purrrrr.

Ok, but if you're looking for truly take off and put back on at will, I would suggest getting magnet decals made. Vinyl stickers can be removed but by the time you peel them off they wouldnt be reusable.

Yeah that would suck if I had to take lights off, but I am looking at a viper winch and it doesnt seem to be as "high" as yours or doesn't appear that the winch housing will be that close to the light mount hole. It's a pretty low profile winch. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Winch should not be in the way of lighting, it was made for it. The winch is recessed down into the bumper. And I have skyjacker 2.5 inch coil/shock lift in front so didn't notice a sag in front but did notice the weight.

So just installed Smittybilt XRC Gen 1 Bumper. Love the look, but man don't know if its my imagination or what but it sure feels alot heavier in the front. Notice it in the way the tires sound and feel on turns and front end just feels heavy. But, I didnt think i would be able to "feel" the...

Too many $$ factors with the diesel. BIGGEST one being it WILL NOT tow or be rated to tow as much as the 3.6. Cooling issues. It WILL NOT be a CUMMINGS diesel it will be an Italian FIAT diesel and Italians are NOT KNOWN for making good diesels. Diesel fuel is more expensive. DEF fluid...

Actually the diesel will be rated for LESS towing than the 3.6! cooling issue.

They are not making money on dealer add ons if you are paying invoice or below invoice. Like mine had dealer added GPS locator and a couple other things that added to a 1400 add on the sticker price. But I paid invoice so they didnt get money for the add ons. I also did not use FCA financing.

So is this by design or glitch. When I turn my wipers on the headlights turn on and dash goes dim, as it does when headlights are on, then turn wipers off and headlights turn off and dash lights brighten. NORMAL?

Keyless entry and proximity entry are two different things! keyless entry means you press the button on the fob to unlock. Proximity means you dont have to touch the fob at all to unlock and can keep it in your pocket.

Don't understand why they would give 5% below invoice when dealer holdback is only 3% of msrp. the dealership would be loosing money.

well the ranger is ugly so....there ya go. and they talk about price but people aren't paying msrp for gladiators, at least not the smart ones.

I just found bolts that were similar thread and length at Home Depot. There is a bolt kit online that you can get. Someone sent it to me on facebook but i cant remember where it was. Maybe try the jeep gladiator pages on facebook and ask the question.
