You are correct, the fuel tank would puncture due to other parts impacting the tank, the fuel would then leak on the hot exhaust and catch fire. My actual point was having the fuel next to the exhaust is a recipe for disaster. Any fuel leak then runs the risk of fuel contacting hot exhaust...

The top one is a little more complicated, but that is just a trailer taillight kit and some simple sheet metal. This is a simple fab job. One trailer tail light kit, and some sheet metal. Nothing requiring a manufacturer intervention for these. Just get the parts and make them if you think...

Any of the top row look great. The middle one looks to have an advantage on the reverse lights possibly wrapping and providing more light on the sides when backing up.

yeah, those are customer fab to reduce the front bumper overhang. I really did not like those plastic bumps sticking out with nothing behind them. I shortened the bumper a few inches by removing them and replacing with simple patch panels.

More info on the skid plate. I bought a bumper I was told was OEM, but I believe is a JTR. It had no skid plate, more info would be great!

I took a Rubicon Metal bumper and removed the bumps that stick out of the bumper by the fog lights. Tomorrow, after I install the panels I fabbed up to fill the space, I will take pics and post. It makes the front bumper about as short as it can be. probably 1.5 inches past the tow hooks...
