For my build all I have to do hand over the truck to the transport driver, and wait for it to get swapped and returned to me.
Well, that and sign the checks to pay for it, LOL.
Yea that Ford DOHC design has a huge footprint.
That is actually why I am currently working with some companies attempting to get the Pushrod Godzilla 7.3L V8 swapped into one of my Range Raptors.
I agree with others with any of these engine swaps or conversions, that I have been seeing them...
I agree all true and very discouraging.
But I am still holding out some minimal hope for 2027 model to get a V8 preferably the 392.
2026 model year seems to be done deal no V8.
The AMW 89K 392 deal seems somewhat interesting.
I hear ya, I have about given up on a factory v8 midsize.
I bought another Ranger Raptors last week and put it in line for a Godzilla swap, supposedly I am about 6 months out for my engine/trans swap taking place. I am supposed to be 3rd in line for the swap on a Ranger Raptor. They are already...
Saw this interesting video this morning.
I am sure this if true, is quite a ways down the road.
Sounds a lot more interesting than the Hurricane 4 and 6 bangers.
What do you mean $10k higher.
Target of $40K is right in line with starting range of the competition.
Ranger is currently mid to high 30s starting MSRPs for 2026.
Most on the lots are MSRP mid to high 40s.
By 2028 $40K would not be out of line given the typical annual inflation rates.
These guys seem to still think the V8 Gladiator is coming Q4 2026 on the current Gladiator platform.
This seems to be a dealer interview from the Dealer show where they got a preview of the new Dakota.
I ran across this V8 Brute for sale today.
Sort of tempting.
Sharp looking rig.
I am not crazy about that 5 speed auto.
2017 Jeep Wrangler | Fast Lane Classic Cars
I was searching to see if there were still kits being sold to convert Wranglers into Gladiator type truck, thinking more...
I thought that was always their plan, It was discussed the last time Dakota was going to be making a come back 6 or 7 years ago, that it would share it's platform with the Gladiator.
Those plans got cancelled and seems they have been revised.
It won't shock me a bit to see them share the same...
My 21' model TRX was $92K MSRP and I paid MSRP.
If I buy a 27' TRX model it will be at MSRP again.
I won't pay any dealer markup BS.
Still pretty pricy for sure.
Not 100% sure just how much I really want another one. LOL
Would much rather have a 392 V8 in a Mid-size truck.
Jeep really seems...
Just pointing out good things seem to be starting to finally be happening with at least one of the Brands.
Lets all try and think positive for the new year. LOL 😁
The RAM TRX made its official comeback debut yesterday.
Curious if there a 392 Jeep gladiator debut around the corner?
Both trucks RAM debuted yesterday were 2027 models.
I would sort of expect the same from Jeep at this point if they do give us the 392 Gladiator we have been waiting on.
Doesn't matter.
‘I have always preferred a v8 to anything else as far as gas engines.
‘Back in 85 I was shopping for a new car and narrowed down my choices to the Buick Regal, Monte SS, and Olds Cuttlas 442. Loved the look of the Regal Grand national i knew it was easily the fastest of the 3...
