As @Average Oregonian said, getting the light itself out is tough without removing the fender, but possible I suppose. the wires coming off the light plugged right into my jeep, no issues. I don’t know if that wire is removable?

I just did the oem LEDs in my driveway. Pulled the whole fender. Scary but I bought new clips on Amazon beforehand. So I was ready to break some. used JScan and no issues.

My dealership @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner were very easy to deal with about getting a red dash in my gobi.

I thought about buying a length of textured vinyl and putting that in the door jam. Would look decent I think and wouldn’t mark up the clear coat.

Picked up a set of OEM LED fender lights. Pretty nervous ripping the fenders off the most expensive vehicle I’ve ever purchased, but it went well. Messed around on JScan and they work perfect without errors.

Added some OEM JL LED fender lights that I picked up off the JL forum for $50. After some messing around with JScan, no errors or hyperflash.
