  1. Recommendation for Topper?

No rooftop tents for me either! My wife's idea of camping is a hotel room. Nice shelter.
  2. Recommendation for Topper?

Yeah, I really like the looks of the SmartCap too. It's pricy, but you generally get what you pay for. Hadn't thought about fiberglass flex, but that makes sense. I'm an old fart and agree that side windows are a must, not only for the dogs but also for me. Thanks!
  3. Recommendation for Topper?

Wow! Nice setup. I haven't seen the Outdoorsman windows...thanks! It's important that the boss has a nice place to sleep. We love our two Chihuahuas.
  4. Recommendation for Topper?

Nice! Yes it looks great. Nice Shepherd too! Roof rack looks good too.
  5. Recommendation for Topper?

I’m considering a hard topper for the bed and wanted opinions on fiberglass vs stainless. I’m quite sure I don’t want a soft topper, as I need two side windows for my two English Mastiffs. The RSI SmartCap looks amazing, but not sure I want to drop $4200. I don’t need all the accessories it...
  6. Question for Mojave Owners

I’m getting 17-18 on my stock 2022 Mojave around town. About to leave on a roadtrip with lots of Interstate driving and hoping to see 20+ on the highway. I think 22 is a long shot.
  7. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

    That's where they attach.
  8. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

Here's the photos. From the underside you can see there's an oblong notch where the rear bolt attaches to the frame. I was able to push the bar in about 1/4" and tighten the bolt to reduce the amount of gap. I think it looks fine.
  9. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

They are straight bars, but there is no gap in the front and a very small gap in the rear. I was able to push it in pretty tight in the rear so you really don’t notice the slight gap. I’ll shoot a close up photo today and post it.
  10. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

Yes, my wife has a bad hip and needed a step to get in. My knees aren’t the greatest either and I think it will be helpful from time to time.
  11. Anyone run these?

Just got these from Westin. I like the slight drop for a step. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/new-gladiator-delivered-without-side-steps.74002/post-1207456
  12. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

None on my 2022 Gladiator either. Bought these...I like them. https://www.westinautomotive.com/product-detail/56-14165/hdx-drop-nerf-step-bars
  13. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

Good to know as a Tennessean! Thanks.
  14. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

Yeah, the Coyotes look sweet. I like the idea of having the mirrors closer to me though, which makes the most expensive CMMs attractive. I probably won't do anything until Spring, so I'll keep pondering this. Got my Westin HDX drop steps installed today and the Rugged Ridge hood locks. I think...
  15. I Finally Got Ducked

    Preparing to duck...
  16. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

Price is right. How did you mount them?
  17. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

The Coyotes look nice too. Price is right. Did you look at them before settling on the CMMs?
  18. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

Yeah, I found so many options. Wanted to see if there was consensus on the forum. So far I'm liking the Coyotes.
  19. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

These look great! Price is good and looks like better visibility than the CMMs. Easy on & off too. Seems like you can use tube doors with them too?
