That was in my 97 F-150
Chrome oem bumper
Pushed driver side in about 1/2" outside the frame horn
Took longer to wash off all the mess than to pull it back in line
Had to wrap a chain around a light pole base and hooks to my bumper to pull it back in line after the last time I slapshot a suicidal doe
Glad I was squared up and had some lift
This thread is about going from 3.73/33s to 4.10/38s on a 3.0 EcoDiesel for a Florida driven JT that doesn't tow or Overland.
Nothing concerning the 3.6 gasser is relevant to the conversation
As l mentioned in the opening post,

IMHO, the best* gear calculator is:
37/33 = 1.12
3.73 x 1.12 = 4.17
And, measured tire size on the ground is needed to flash your ecm and calibrate speedo and shift points in the tranny.

My convo with Ryan at Exxodus
Hey Dale,
Since you are in Florida , I think you should be fine with the 4.10. Where we live out here , I would typically recommend 4.56.

I guess you may really be crazy...
My OP wasn't asking any questions or looking for advice.
Maybe you should read it again.
I just posted that I had ordered 4.10s and why I decided to.
Really didn't expect so many folks to try and convince me I didn't do it like they would.
