The shock bushings are going bad on the Fox Rubicon shocks on my Gladiator. Does anyone know what neoprene or other upgrade fits these? Do they use the same as a standard shock?

I made my own using a GUB mount. This is just a bent piece of sheet metal screwed down under the rubber floor of the dash well. It takes no space. It allows me t use the phone as a dash cam.

My old one was great. Then they were bought by a big chain. Went to hell in a handbag.

I made my own for a TJ out of 1/4" plywood that sat on the roll cage. It was reinforced with 1X1" on the edges which also raised it slightly. Trunk carpeting was glued on the bottom and foam carpet padding on top. It was cheap and helped with both sound and thermal insulation.

I've thought of putting a roof mount antenna on the hardtop. I'll likely never remove the back half anyway. I had way better reception on my TJ.

I wanted to avoid wind noise so I mounted it inside and made an aluminum shield to cut down on light reflecting into the cab. It took a lot of fine tuning that honestly may not have been worth the effort. It does illuminate quite well, tho.
