According to my dealer mine is on a truck and may arrive at dealership tomorrow. I asked him if he will get the lift and tires installed so I can have it by Father’s Day.
He chuckled...
Plus with on star systems the police can disable stolen vehicles with permission. Soon they won’t need permission to either disable your vehicle or monitor you for auto drive. The technology is already here.
Can’t wait for the next civil war when congress mandates the use of auto drive car technology in the next decade. They will state public safety as the rationale.
@steffen707 Actually post 142 in this thread. I had to convert to inches (google). It is a 34.5 x 12.5 r17. I was most curious on how wide a 12.5 would be on the stock rim. Fits inside nicely.
So the odyssey continues...
Sitting here thinking at 6pm why my dealer wouldn’t see any update in his system since Tuesday if I got notification of a sticker at 4am. So I call Jeep customer service. Nice lady. Reads through info. Says it was updated at 7:15am this morning that it is at the...

Went to dealer. Still KZ S in the system. No update since that was entered on Tuesday 6/4. He showed me the screen. There was no other information. He seemed to think KZ S means it is at the secondary (destination) rail yard ramp. Either Atlanta or Savannah are typical in this area. Fingers crossed.
I’m on vacation today by chance. I’m heading to dealer to see if they can give me any new info now that I am stickered. Bonus points if anyone knows this vague dr Seuss reference
I worked for a railroad early in my career. It is mind boggling how millions of rail cars move in and out of various train yards across this country to get to their final destination. Think about direct flight vs multi hop flights. In rail transport there is rarely a direct train from point a to...
Yeah, this is just the first time I have ordered a specific vehicle instead of just buying off the lot. Tracking each step in the build process and watching it unfold is of great interest to me. That is why I have been so inquisitive. It's like seeing the ultrasounds before the birth...
