I’m in the same boat as you. I just can’t find a real picture of the softopper with a soft top. This defies logic to me. I did find a rendered image of the bestop version with a soft top.
I’d really like to see the Softopper on a soft top Gladiator though!
Received it Last Summer. 10,000 glorious miles.
Zero problems.
The recall on my clutch was just the dealership checking everything over. The clutch ended up being fine. I could have told them that though. The clutch feels Amazing for a truck.
I wonder how well they’d work without nuts. I don’t keep nuts on my full doors so I can take them off faster.
Of course the bestop doors don’t use nuts. If the tube doors could be used that way, I could take them off in a few seconds and move them to the bed and put the bestop doors on when it...
I like the look of tube doors but haven’t bought them because I feel like it’d be a bit of work to take them off every time it might rain.
How long does it take you guys to take off your tube doors?
yep. Option 3 is how I’d roll too. If that wasn’t an option... door #1.
BTW, I’d definitely have the bed cover on. I always have my bestop doors in the bed. I can have the soft top down and doors on in 1-2 minutes in case of rain.
I haul up to a couple thousand pounds in mine (Manual trans Sport S).
If I had to haul a big boat, I’d personally have an older pickup to use for that kind of work.
I had a nice 1997 f150 for a while that I finally got rid of this year because I didn’t use it much anymore. If I managed to hurt...
It took all of 5 minutes to unhook the plunger under the hood. Problem solved...for free.
That ess cuts out the a/c and is Just plain dangerous in my opinion.
For me, the main problem was when I was just coming to a stop and needed to immediately take off again. I drive the manual...
I don’t know how everyone’s getting such great mileage with and without stock tires. I was getting 19 on stock 245/75r17 tires. I’m running 315/70r17 BFG KO2 tires now. I’m getting about 16-17.
Of course I disconnected the start/stop feature last summer and never hooked it back up. I don’t...
It’s not as far as the wife’s minivan or her G-class. However, she can’t drop the top and ditch the doors. It’s fast enough considering it’s a Jeep!
I’ve got the standard top rather than the premium one.
However I’ve never had any trouble if I do the top first then the sides. I do the bottom part last. Sometimes I have to bump it down a little with a hammer fist around the middle.
