My real passion is poker. It's what I do for "work". That being said, it pretty much requires me to have another vehicle. Casino is 185 miles away and I go for 3-4 days a week, and stay overnight. I don't want those miles on the gladiator, nor to pay for that gas. So I have a 2012 Chevy Sonic...
I happened upon this at a goodwill today, never been used, and was $4.99. I know someone was looking for an easily removable seat cover in a post recently, but I can't find it. I know they said they didn't want to use the Jeep towel also.
Anyways, it's $30 new online, but if anyone wants it for...
I've got the Rough Country Intake in mine. I won't even pretend there are any actual benefits to it, I just enjoy the sound. Especially with a manual transmission, it's much easier to hear the engine revving.
I feel lucky when I read some of the issues others have had here with various aftermarket LED's. I changed everything from factory halogens to LED's.
Oracle Oculus Headlights
Oracle Flush Mount Taillights
Morimoto Sequential Turn Signals with DRL
Morimoto LED corner markers
I have had ZERO...
The god awful factory halogen headlights are getting repurposed in some wall art. I've wired the halogen housing with a candelabra lamp socket and switch, and will now get started on a "grill" to mount it in. Going to make that out of wood, maybe put some led backlighting behind the grill...
I wired my LEDs into the factory fog light switch. I removed the factory connector from the fog lights and the cubes, and wired the factory connector to the cube wiring.
They are LED strips. They are actually just from home Depot, USB powered, (2) 24" strips. I have the wiring ran under the trim on the center console and for now I have to plug it on to USB port up front when I use them. I'm going to wire in a USB outlet under the dash so it's all hidden.
I really like them so far, after 1500 miles. Relatively quiet, aggressive for an all terrain, and if like me you aren't going to be doing a ton of off-roading I think they are a great all around tire.
I have the Toyo Open Country AT3 in 35x12.50 on my gladiator right now, and they only have 1500 miles on them so no real tread wear yet. I can go measure the height right now and snap a picture if you want it.
