Breathe man... breathe... :)
I took it as you just seem to have a lot more time to look at the fine details than the rest of us - Which is a GOOD quality!!!! I WISH I had time to look at all the fine print and details - maybe I'd be further along in life ?
I think we are confusing TL membership with an Affiliate rewards control number.
Yes the TL membership is for a full year of whenever you joined.
Once an official TL member, you can enter your info into the FCA affiliate website and generate a control number that can be used for affiliate...
As others have wrote, it's best to test drive - unfortunately finding some models to test drive can be challenging today....
If you're looking at midsize - My vote is a JT Rubicon Diesel - Great power, decent mileage, Capabilities beyond any Toyota.
If you're looking at full-size, there are lots...
Yep - I got my number on day 2 after my TL membership came through - I was just messing around with the FCA Affiliate website and a couple clicks and bamn, up came my number. I thought for sure it would say "Not active long enough" or similar, but nope, out cranked an affiliate number. That's...
Yep - You can generate an Affiliate control number on the same day you get your TL membership (there is no 30-day wait to get the number).
The dealer verifies the 30-day requirement by asking for a copy of your TL membership letter.
What I don't know is where that requirement comes from..... ...
Just checked my '22 (Early March build date) JTRD and it's showing:
685410499AD on ECU1
68488239AE on ECU2
Does this mean they have FW that is even higher than what is being applied with the recall?
Well that sucks, but unfortunately is not surprising....
It's a huge problem especially when your traveling a couple hrs to see a specific model they have on their website only to arrive to find out they Don't have that model at all, it's not for sale, it's a customer order, or the price is NOT...
Congrats!! That's a pretty cool feeling when you finally get the call!
They are crazy for sure, but Renee and Daniel did NOT seem flustered or phased at all when I was there - It was just a relaxed downhome atmosphere...
In the end, it's your call....
Going through Gupton will save you thousands compared to an MSRP dealer... So it gives you MUCH more room with your trade (i.e. even if you don't get top dollar, you'll come out ahead) and you'd have a brand new 2022....
Decisions, Decisions....
Punch your VIN into Carmax and Carvana (carvana hasn't been close to carmax prices lately) to get an idea of what they would give you.
I agree, trade to Gupton isn't gonna be the best deal (although it would still probably be better than trading to an MSRP dealer!).
Go ahead and order what you...
Thats great news!!
That is exactly how my delivery worked⦠it showed up a WEEK AFTER it would have been super convenient to show upā¦.. but⦠hey⦠at least its there!!
For me it was a sell to carmax for a pretty darn good price (and a lot less hassle than selling it myself), and then fly to TN for a great price on an exactly what I wanted JT!
They do do trades - guy was trading in his Prius on a JT the day i was there. I didnāt see a lot of used products on...
I know!!! I have not seen ANY dealer of ANY brand have as much as 15% of the jeeps Daniel has on his lot!,
Heās got wranglers, gladiators, grand wagoneers, etc.
He is doing it right on both the customer and manufacturer end of things! If more dealers would adopt this model of moving product...
They offer a couple of back-office sales things you can add into the financing if you want, like mopar extended warranty, wheel warranty, and extended maintā¦. It is NOT high pressure and is a quick 5-10min thing.
Yep - that was mine. Put 450 miles on her this afternoon/evening⦠Lovin every minute of it!
Dont want to sound like a broken record - but these are just down-home honest folk! You choose the 5,6, or 7 percent number based on TL and dealer financing - No high pressure back-office sales...
