  1. Comparing a tuned JTRD to one regeared with 4.56s, both on 37s.

Yup. Had a guy at a bar ask about getting into track days....told him.. get a Miata. Two guys at the end of the bar started laughing and then said...."He's right.." Then we all got into a convo about how a new driver could push the hell out of a Miata and learn to drive correctly. Sad...

You did Schnebly Hill didn't you? Beautiful trail for sure.
  3. Comparing a tuned JTRD to one regeared with 4.56s, both on 37s.

When your tires are taller than his hood and you beat him off the line....it's funny. But yeah they do handle nice. It's the old adage of driving a slow car fast. For an entry level track car you really can't do better than a miata.
  4. Comparing a tuned JTRD to one regeared with 4.56s, both on 37s.

All the more reason to use that diesel to see the country. I'll admit if I could 392 swap I would. I love the idea of ridiculous rides.
  5. Did anyone else do the SUMA Mirror group buy? Did I get ripped off?

Good to know you aren't getting hosed. Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothing to F with!
  6. Comparing a tuned JTRD to one regeared with 4.56s, both on 37s.

I had @Rusty PW in mind when I made my statement. My old URS6 would peg the boost gauge. Each new mod got you back to that rush. With the JT i feel like I am chasing a different rush. That pucker on a shelf road or getting tippy over an obstacle. Though I can tell you I really did enjoy...
  7. Comparing a tuned JTRD to one regeared with 4.56s, both on 37s.

This is what happens to all of us that build fast cars. Truck did not get slower.... You got used to it. After several big turbo Audis I can tell you its true. You end up chasing the rush and it gets exponentially more and more expensive.
  8. allowed lift height

37s with the 2.5 clayton lift then 35s same lift..
  9. allowed lift height

    Perfect throwback look. Nicely done.
  10. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

I wheeled the shit out of my Nittos. Never let me down. Hoping the Maxxis are just as good. They made great MTB tires.
  11. 2” lift for my 22 Rubicon. What’s the pluses and minuses of the spacer type?

You gonna wheel it or put big tires on it and drive it? I went Clayton Overland Plus... Easy install and adjustable track and control arms.
  12. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

They are, but I loved my 35s. Those things took a beating.
  13. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

@Discount Tire has always treated me fairly. 33s and 35s. They were always a good sport about my off road shenanigans. The walmart deal was a loss for them. I asked if Discount would match. Something to be said for a tire warranty. But $613 for 5 Maxxis 37s shipped to my door. I had...
  14. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

Not yet. Still have them up on CL and my kid threw them on FB
  15. 37" Spare wheel carrier

I would love a swing arm that works with my factory MOPAR steel bumper.
  16. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

I got the walmart deal for 5x37s for $600 shipped. Just wait for the deal to pop again.
  17. Jeep Badge of Honor

You got a response. I have gotten nothing.
  18. Off-Roading Colorado

All of the above....only used winch to recover a wheeling partner who got overzealous in some mud at mini Moab... Add in Mini Moab, China Wall, and a few others in the front range.
  19. Opinions on control arms...Metalcloak - Clayton - Rusty's

I'm running that same bracket. It's a nice set up.
