He's outraged about how inflation has driven the price of a Mazda 3 from $23k to $28k. sounds like a #realworldproblem. Cars and trucks over $35k aren't a neccessity, rather a luxury. If you can't afford to pay off the vehicle at the time of purchase or very soon there after, you should't buy it.
What will fit and what fits correctly is 2 different things. Personally I wouldn't go that wide on a 8" wide wheel. BFG KO2s are very hard to beat for the driving mixture you described. They have a nice rugged look to them and ride quiet.
Typical FCA marketing. They want you to add on as many options as possible for the obvious reason. The 5" screen looks out of place in my opinion and wouldn't be something I could live with.
The place in NC that sold a bunch to members will be between a rock and a hard place if this holds up. Not sure how they'd make a dime if they are selling for 7% under invoice without being reimbursed by FCA for the control numbers buyers plan on using.
His VIN seems to be the anomaly but there really isn't a ton of data as of yet. My order was placed 04/05 at 11:57 AM EST and my VIN is 111912 - Billet Silver.
That seems logical as it seems like they are only building @ 1,000 units a week so far. I have only seen window stickers available for 39xx so far. My guess is that the LE models will start @ 111xxx which would leave around 10k JTs to be built before then, hopefully all pre-spec builds for dealers,
It would seem that the last 6 of the VIN are following a pattern.
Sport = 107xxx,108xxx,109xxx
Sport S = 108xxx, 109xxx
Overland = 101xxx, 102xxx, 103xxx, 106xxx, 107xxx
Rubicon 100xxx, 101xxx, 102xxx, 110xxx
The 4th and 7th characters of the VIN
Sport = H A
Sport S = J A
Overland = H F...
