Gasp ! Just had the dreaded @A! appear at mile 877 even with the start/stop turned off.. I reached out to Jeep Cares via this forum. We will see how they can help.

Status update : Took the Gladiator to the nearby mountains and was religious about turning off the start/stop. Engine seems to run slightly rough after idling awhile but I haven't had the dreaded @A! in at least 20 stops. I know this doesn't solve the problem but at least I can use the vehicle...
