I totally get that. I ordered my KM3s back in 21’ when you still couldn’t find anything (some stuff still seems that way) and the estimated delivery date kept sliding and sliding. I started looking for other tires but it was the same story. I think it took 3-4 months to get those tires.
I went from the stock 33” Fulkcun Wild Pits to 37” KM3s on true beadlocks. It made a MASSIVE difference in how badass the truck was.
I think it’s important to remember that this is a heavy solid axle brick we’re all driving, not a track rat Miata where we’re going to lap times. Just drive it...
TPU which is supposedly UV and heat resistant. It’s what they make cell phone cases out of. I’m a little more concerned about rust. I added drain holes on the right side of mine only. I’ve made STLs with left side, right side, all sides and no drain holes. I’m going to post today on printables...
Absolute must if you have a dog. I’ve had mine for a few years and my doors look brand new. My man hangs out of both rear windows and he’s always covered with water, sand or dirt. The doors would be destroyed without these.
Yeah, the point is it does have mass air flow sensor issues. It also has oil filter issues and cooling issues, for some at least. Most people with aftermarket air intakes report no issues but they do exist. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if an aftermarket intake actually restricts air. 90% of...
Finished my Krazy Beaver shovel cover. (I hate the one that came with it) I’ll post a link to stl files at some point.

Finished the TPU Krazy Beaver shovel cover!
I’ll upload the stls and post a link when I get around to it. There's 3 versions depending on where you want the drain holes.
Opus seems to have switched to Renogy (also a Chinese company) for their trailers power systems. I think Renogy was already popular in the boating, van and camper world. I think their chassis are all made in China and the outfitting is done in the U.S. But traditionally it was the outfitting...
I actually made this thread after I switched from a portable power unit; Goal Zero in my case. GZ is a mixed bag in many ways but in the field my Yeti 500 worked without issue. I would never consider going back to one of those of any brand after using this setup. I’ve still got 2 GZ Yetis, that...
The slide out is it’s own beast. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/diy-slide-out-w-sink.74944/
It’s hard to say how many hours. I did the design for the slide out in CAD in the evenings. Probably 6 hours total. Construction wasn’t that big of a deal, 1 weekend. The battery system...
Usually, there’s a fuse between a dc to dc charger and the starting battery. I’m using a circuit breaker so I can more conveniently separate the two. You don’t want to prevent two way flow, because the dc to dc needs to draw power from the truck when it’s running. That’s also where the risk to...
I agree. I believe the Noco supplies 10A. Unfortunately, there’s no setting to prevent this other than flipping the circuit breaker from the DCC50S to the starting battery. If the voltage at the starting battery is over 14v (I believe that’s where most dc to dc chargers turn on) it will activate...
I’ve found that if I plug in my Noco Genius to my starting battery (I have a MagCode port on the side of the truck), it will raise the voltage enough at the starting battery to activate the DCC50S. I’m not sure if Redarc systems do this but theoretically any dc to dc charger that activates off...
That mess of cables on the right my power and lighting boxes. I still haven’t found a really good way to stow those. The power box is the black thing on the right side of the battery box held on with Velcro
I used a 100AH battery and originally a plastic battery case. I wasn’t happy with that...
I haven’t had the issue since that last cluster of them. I haven’t done anything. I’ve got the supplies assembled to change the oil but I’m going to wait until later in the summer.
One thing to note about when all of this started. Around Farthers Day weekend, the trucks sat for probably 5 days...
I’m still stuck on having a little wobble and replacing your entire set of steering arms. That doesn’t make sense to me. But, hey, upgraded parts. But the wobble radically increasing after installing this should be an indication something was done wrong.
First the truck needs to be aligned on...
Yeah, it’s the same valve. The reason it’s done like this, beyond simplicities sake, is that I can plug in other air sources to this like a compressor and fill all 4 tires. Also I didn’t want to hard plumb the PowerTank into the system. I can remove it from the truck in 30 seconds.
