Don't know about performance. It does sound a little better. I got the K&N so I can clean it out on long back country trips: bang it against a tire to get the dirt out, run some water through it, air dry, good to go for another couple days.
Hood release in the cab and/or locking hood
Bigger motor, either a turbo V6 or 5.7 V8
10 speed auto transmission
More gear choices - 4.56/4.88 etc

Mine has been doing it since day 1. Along with the constant input to the left my wheel has about 1" to 1.5" of play in the steering wheel. Improved a little with Fox steering stabilizer and 35s with 34psi. Dealing with it until I get my Alu Cab canopy camper added, then take care of all...
I was in the same boat and went with Gladiator Mojave. Got it for $7k more than a maxed out Tremor. My final decision was I had to do less to the Mojave it to make a more capable truck for what I needed it for. They both have their pluses and minuses, but off the showroom floor the Mojave was...
My 21 Mojave was really wandering in the wind. I recently lowered the tire psi to 33 and installed a Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer. Tightened the steering up quite well, still has some movement in the wind, but doesn't over control like it used to.
