I was told several times by customer service that my headlights were going to ship last week and that never happened. If fine with that but I'm not fine underestimating how long it will actually take especially after you took my money.
I recent was in your situation and went with Sport S Max Tow because I do more hauling and towing then off roading. The only real off road driving it will see is the beach. I am very happy with my decision.

If you open up the Rubicon vents and test making kick up to create a low pressure zone above the vent would increase their efficiency. The hard part would be making them out of fiberglass or 3D print them. Im really not a fan of this hood they had to put a stupid fake scoop in the center but...
I think those louvers will help get more air through the radiator. I get jeeps point of view it would be too costly to design a hood specifically for the diesel.
