Excellent addition and installation! Luckily, I haven't done anything to my top since I've had the JT so it's still factory. Looks like I've got a project on my hands now :)
Thule offers a nice in-bed mount. Only problem is you have to remove the bike's front tire to lock the forks in. I carry two bikes very easily and securely as it's not a big deal to remove/re-attach the front tires.
Fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, theft etc. Mine went up (live in Ohio) $750.00 just because. When I called, they told me that insurance has gone up across the board, just because. I believe it's State Farm who has ceased providing homeowners insurance in California. Florida is next...
It's very expensive to borrow money right now. Got 2.9% APR back in 2020 when I bought mine, and the climate being what it is for the foreseeable future, figured I was going to keep it for a while so paid it off (more $$ for mods). Figure Jeeps hold their value pretty consistently, so I'll...
The one thing people forget, is that when you buy-out a lease, you have to pay (add-in) the sales tax to the financed amount, that's why the financed total is more then the "owed" total when purchasing. It varies with situation, but since you've owned it since new, the positive equity combined...
Market correction like @ShadowsPapa stated, combined with "incentives" to get you on the lot. If you read the qualifiers, there are numerous disclaimers regarding " qualified customers" , certain types of financing etc which most people won't qualify for. The $10K is made up of numerous items...
65 here and seems I'm in good company! Blessed to be in good health except Arthur (Arther-ritis) has shown up everywhere. We do things ourselves because we will ourselves to do it rather than giving in to the aches and pains of lives well-lived. Things take longer to complete, but we enjoy...
There's nothing you can do about the warranty clock ticking, but depending on how long "a few years" is would drive my decision. 1-2 years, prep it for storage and find a climate-controlled facility (especially in Fla with its salt and humidity) and view it as an investment. Longer than 2...
I always let mine idle until it drops to ~900RPM before driving. Just old-school thinking that it allows things to warm up, fluids to circulate, and sensors to get proper readings prior to take off. Maybe it's needed, maybe not, but it make me feel better.
Are you using the "learn" button on the ceiling-mounted unit or just by holding the factory opener close to the in-car button? My programming went very smoothly using the learn button on the ceiling-mounted unit. PIA cause you have to climb a ladder, push button, get back in car etc, but it...
Just google top-tier gas for a list of stations that carry it. A nationwide study in 2014 identified those gasoline mixtures with additives that exceeded normal industry standards. Many major publications agree that octane ratings are pretty moot when using TT gasoline, unless you're running it...
Graphics like this all over the internet, but no clear definition of the meaning of biohazard on a palm except it symbolizes "danger". Maybe the original owner wanted to send a message that his jeep is radioactive (ghostbuster green accents with biohazard signs)?
Fuel has them. A quick google search turned up hundreds of bronze off-road wheels from various manufacturers and retailers. Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but they're out there.
Mine's 3 years now and still the best mod I've done. Originally picked it up from Best Top for about $800 (sale at the time), and got the twill to match the factory tonneau cover. I take mine off every winter and store inside and clean and treat with Aerospace 303 fabric protector before...
