I expected to find that since on my computer at home it looks that way but it really just looked like a very dark charcoal gray with a lot of metallic sparkles in it. I think it's gorgeous. Won't be my choice because I've spent the last 8 years with a perpetually dirty JK and I don't want...
Here's Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, and Sting Gray all next to each other in broad daylight. I think Gray is going to show more scratches than Silver just because it's darker and the flat finish leaves less texture to hide imperfections.
Yeah I went and looked at Granite, Billet Silver, and Sting Gray all lined up next to each other on JLs today. That's Billet Silver. It just looks darker in the low light pictures. I am really liking Billet. It's much nicer looking than the Bright Silver Metallic Jeep used on the JKs. Sting Gray...
Has anyone heard from Kent or any dealer offering special pricing? I sent him an email yesterday asking when he expects ordering to open and whether he can help at all with the Launch Edition. I'm sure it's a busy time, let alone the weekend, so I'm not expecting anything until at least Monday.
Am I safe assuming I can't get a deal on these like with a normal Gladiator at say Peterson in Boise?
And does anyone know if an FCA affiliate code will work on this one?
Get a quote on your build from one of the dealers that offer discounts and then call your local dealers to see how close they can come. Maybe they can get close enough that it's not worth traveling out of state. I'm not optimistic about my local dealers, so I'm likely headed to Idaho, but I'll...
Yeah the Sandy, Utah LHM is unwilling to talk discounts at all until pricing is announced. I told them I'll happily book a $50 flight to Boise and drive a new Gladiator home if they don't want to compete on price.
You can always take the original decals off and put whatever you want on there. Pixeldecals is a great site with lots of Jeep specific options. I've ordered from them 3 times for my JK. Always top notch quality and reasonable pricing.
For anyone near Idaho, I had a quick exchange with Kent at Peterson in Boise after asking for some details. His fees include a $299 doc fee, your state's title transfer fee, and a $9 dollar travel permit. There is no benefit to having FCA affiliate benefits or Tread Lightly, as they won't affect...
As someone who paid for the Infinity upgrade in my JK only to have to pull it all out and replace with better components, I will take overkill every time.
