Kicker Speakers - KSC-350 (PAIR) and KSC-40 (pair) - Sound Bar Upgrade!!
Took these out of my soundbar since I moved to the speaker pods from Trail Seven. Work great and the JT was only used for weekends around town. These sound way better than the stock OEM or Alpine OEM. These also have...
Anyone do the upgrades mentioned by OP minus the knee speakers? I did the entire install on my 19 JL for the alpine unit and the knee speakers were a royal PIA, swore I'd never do that again. I'm on the fence of just doing the trail7 kicker soundbar pod upgrade or doing what OP did and...
Well went ahead and just installed using the B-pillar wiring for the speakers like the Trailseven video mentioned. Little easier to access the wiring bundle IMO. I did use some posi-tap connectors which worked well. Getting the damn ground bolt loosened was a bit of a PIA since I was just...
I think I found the area you're talking about to access the factory subwoofer wiring (#4 - 6-pin connector) without having to remove the entire wall trim.
Im thinking the (left) connector smaller one the DarkGrn/Orange (-) and Gray/Orange (+) ? See last picture I marked up.
So did you...
Is there a section of the back trim piece that you can remove to just access the Premium Alpine subwoofer wiring? I'd prefer not to take the whole panel off just to tap into the orange wires. I plan on keeping the factory sub in place and add the HS10.
Thank you! I placed an order for the sub. I like the idea of turning down the Bass on the radio head unit and the ability to adjust on the Kicker volume adjustment, hoping this will allow for playing a bit louder when the top is off without as much distortion.
One last thing I just wanted to see if you could clarify more on removal of the "pocket" where I need to tap into the sub? I just want to make sure I dont snap anything. Is there a panel hiding the screws I assume?
"You can pull on the passenger side pocket after removing the screws and it...
Did you tap into the original sub wiring per OP? I'm debating to just do that since it seems way easier than running to the passenger pillar to tap into the speaker wiring. Also, trying to figure out why this sub is a good bit more from trail seven than others like Crutchfield, is it because...
Got my Switchback. Love it!! Sturdy and looks great. Did have a little issue with the new handles and locking into the trail rail but seems to have worked itself out after repositioning.
Got 37" BFG KO2's on my JTM with stock wheels and love the look and also appreciate they don't poke out. I do get a little rubbing when I do a full turn. Also like that the KO2 fits in the spare no problem. Planning to get the AEV spacer installed in a couple weeks which should eliminate that.
Anyone using the new clamps with the Teraflex bed rails? Got my Switchback yesterday and its very cumbersome to get the clamp inside the bed rail, its as if the lower "bulge" under interferes with the cleat going in. Maybe just me, but love to hear from anyone else with teraflex rail and newly...
Thank you for the response raidergladiator. I agree there will not be too many times I could see myself needing just one panel flipped back, but I have on occasion had a larger item that sat higher than the tonneau and wished I could just leave enough room for that item. Had a Revolver X4s...
