First wash today. It was 65 degrees so I decided it was warm enough to pop off the freedom panels! went ahead a left them off for now. I have another vehicle if weather doesn’t cooperate.
This could be done with thinner or perforated vinyl material also. Not that’s regular will stand a chance in my opinion. It’s already breaking through plastic at 200mph or whatever
Truly impressed and satisfied with the phone mount from Bulletproof’. Aluminum and CF feel sturdy. I have only the 1 factory screw in to secure it along in addition to the tape. I didn’t have the heart to put 3 screws in the dash.
thanks. I almost went for Bronze DV8 wheels but my buddy encouraged me to go for something a little nicer. Glad I did. I was going to go the for the Roosts in bronze but went with a safer option. Even though it’s not as unique it’s a bit less trendy.
Had to remove the splash guard. But it’s sits OK considering 35 tires without a lift.
I went with Method Roost wheels in 17x.85 +0
For tires I went a timeless BFG Ko2 in 35x12.50r17.
First week:
I transfer my straps, jumper cables first aid kit yada yada yada. Feels like mine.
get my first ride along. My buddy Coop. He belongs to friends of ours.
So far. The truck is missing something. I know what it needs to feel more like a Jeep.
Day 2:
I can’t stand the wobble and swaying of the 3ft factory antenna. It was my first mod on my JK. It had to go. Simple solution is a stubby from autozone. $10 well spent.
On to the JT:
the first day I got it. After a less than exciting first NEW vehicle experience at the dealer, I finally got exactly what I wanted. Heated seats because I’m always cold. Tech package for a little extra razzle dazzle (not sure if there’s a speaker upgrade, but it sounds great as...
The camper:
my wife and I restored a 1959 Cardinal “canned ham” style camper. It’s no a looker from the outside. I like the patina. The inside has been done up to “glamper” status. Best of all. We use it. We take it for solo weekend getaways and hunting trips. With a more capable “tow rig” we...
I picked up my JT a little over a week ago. Love it so far. Bit of a gas guzzler, but it was to be expected. Surprisingly it’s worse than my 3.8 JKU on 37s was!
for reference I had my 08 JKU Sahara with about a 4inch Metalcloak lift, fore mentioned 37s, 4.88 gears, 1 ton steering and loads of...
