On my JL I ran through an electrical solenoid, required me to ensure engine was on to use. Have not transferred to the JT yet so haven't figured out how I am going to set it up. I like the manual switch you posted, might have to look into it.
Hmmm Still waiting on my 2023 Ranger to come off that line. The wait, as well as many other reasons, is why I drive a JT now and wont be picking up the Ranger.
Had the same setup in my JL, worked great. Just have to install in the JT now.

Looks great. I just picked up my Mojave Thanksgiving week, looks like we are headed in the same direction with mods.
One thing though, I had the same GMRS antenna mount on my JL, when I pulled it off to trade in, it pulled the paint right off the plastic cowl piece. Going a different way...
I use the AEV Jack Base with the stock jack, and also have the under dash mount. Granted I don't do hard core wheeling where a different jack might be needed for the situation.
