  1. Front Axle Disconnect.

There is an actual TSB for this issue. The service manager and my tech showed it to me after I gently persuaded them to check for it. . They took mine apart to check for free play then went to one on the lot to check how it should be.. They said yep it’s faulty and ordered up the parts.
  2. Front Axle Disconnect.

This just started happening with my truck last week. I took it in to my local dealership this morning and just got a call this evening that there is indeed excessive play in the FAD intermediate shaft and parts have been ordered. ETA is about a week or so. FYI my service department and the tech...

  5. Anyone Else Really Like Looking at Your Parked Rig?

ALSO! If you plan on running a winch w this bumper do all of it at the same time. You can’t “or I couldn’t “ get to the two front bolts for the winch on the winch plate with the bumper on. You put the winch plate on, then the winch, and then the erector set bumper. i had to mount the box to the...
  6. Anyone Else Really Like Looking at Your Parked Rig?

It was kind of a pain in the butt to put together. You really need an extra pair of hands. You can do it yourself but it would go much easier with a helper.
  7. JT headlights not blinding others?

i Followed a friend of mine on the Hwy the other night and I asked him if my LEDs were blinding him. He said they did not. He said they look really focused and threw out a very clean light but not blinding. I like how well they work especially now that it’s the season for driving home from work...
  8. Anyone Else Really Like Looking at Your Parked Rig?

I think it’s a mix of getting something that you really want and then realizing it actually happened. Also new stuff is awesome. I look at mine and think... what can I mod and how far is too far.. This also happened when we got the new MX5.
  9. Hidden/Buried features of the JT

Our MX5 has a proximity fuel filler door release.. Won’t open unless the key is near.
  10. Stock Rubicon JT MPG--What are you getting?

This is exactly what I’m getting or was getting. I aired down to 34psi to reduce some of the dead zone in the steering and now I’m getting an average of 17.5 mixed on stock MTs... I have an aftermarket bumper, 12K winch, and a Decked system in the back with a few tools. Probably and extra...

  13. Looking for photos of Gladiator w/ Tall and Skinny Tires...

I just went out with a tape measure and the stock rubicon MTs are only 10.5in wide and actually closer to 8.5in wide if you just measure the treat width. The tread cuts back in on the shoulders of the tire.285/70/17s
  14. Traction control effects loose steering issue

didn’t make a difference as far as I could tell. So far settling cold psi to 34 has helped the most. Btw. I month old JTR.
  15. Loose Steering?

The spec on the door says 37psi. Tpms light still not on with cold psi at 34. Btw it ends up being 35-36 when warm. I also didn’t say that it was a fix for the deficiency.. I said it made a big difference. There is no way they should have been at 45psi from the dealer either. I know some...
  16. Loose Steering?

Also. From the dealer my tires were inflated to 45psi on the MTs!! I didn’t notice it until I got home. It was a 1.5 hr drive and it was not great! I deflated to 38 and it got better. I’m now at 34 cold and it has made a HUGE difference
  17. Traction control effects loose steering issue

Gonna try this next time out... I’ll report back.
  18. Loose Steering?

I have a stock suspension JT rubicon with MTs and under 55-60 mph steering is total acceptable. At 70-75 it’s just ok. I was oversteering it for the first couple hundred miles. I now have 3100 miles on it and it drives straight on a flat road. No jutter or shake. Handles bumps fine. If there is...
