I don't know about a truck, but on the train they can see every stop the train makes in the system. My salesman showed me the system on the computer and I could see all of the stops.
Remember that the hard-top is white on the inside. So that'll be another color floating around. I know it sounds anal, but that's why I went silver LE, the white blends nice with the black (no dash accent on the LE), but not sure what white, black, saddle, and dash accent red/silver would look...
Ordered one earlier this month - its in the mail and should be here Saturday. I should have some hands-on with it shortly. Like you said @ralphjr, the side mount bike racks put me over. My wife and I have our cyclocross bikes, so I have two bikes I need to mount along with the rooftop tent. I'll...
Does it float away from the body or is there a pad or something between them? I'd be worried about dirt getting in there and rubbing on the paint or it flexing when going over bumps and hitting the side. Did you test that kind of stuff or is it a worry from your side?
My guess is that the ESS looks at a number of conditions before being able to work and the door switch being bad threw a fault in the ESS activating (it won't turn off the vehicle with the door open, or in park, etc).
Yeah, I've got a ticket in the system now too. I also have a 2017 Cherokee and I can see both vehicles in the Uconnect app and online. No vehicle health report is available on the Gladiator, but I can do remote lock/unlock/start. My confusion is I don't really get what XMGuardian offers that...
Totally just nabbed the center console organizer. The bottomless pit that is default is a bit much for reasonable storage that doesn't just turn into a pile of stuff to fish through.
Yeah, I did some research on that and it was a resounding - don't put a standard fridge out in the bed without being in an enclosure. Now, lucky for all of us, ARB makes an outside fridge called "Elements"....basically $1500. That's a lot of scratch, but when a normal 63qt fridge is $900, one...
How long did the battery last? They're generally like 10 year 100k warranties. My Ford Fusion Hybrid is doing great at year 7 no issues. Prior to it I had a Ford Explorer Sport-Trac that got like 17mi/gal. Just considering my work commute over those 7 years the gas difference would be about...
*knocking on my head* Just hit 1600 miles after three weeks of ownership and no issues so far. Other than not knowing how to use the two rubber things in the freedom top bag.
I it back - It looks like the Gladiator is in the Guardian connect thing, but not Uconnect. I can control both from the Uconnect app, but I can't see vehicle health reports for the Gladiator. I think that's the only feature it is missing. Mildly annoying and I wonder if it will be added later or...
Well, the fridges don't use much, like 10-12 Watt/hour, so a 100W panel should be fine. Since I don't know that I'll remove the rear roof, I may go with a rack above that and do a semi-permanent mount with a 100W panel. That way I could charge even while driving around. I have to do more thought...
I think the plug goes on top of the mat rather than under. That would keep the mat water tight (for amounts of water that aren't sloshing over the edges - maybe winter melt and such). Opening it should drain out without hitting carpet below. At least that's how I put mine in.
That sucks - I have UConnect on my '17 Cherokee, so it got added to my account and now I see both vehicles in the app. I'm sure they'll get it sorted and it shouldn't be a big deal to move the end-date of the trial. I mostly use it on cold winter days and hot summer days to pre-heat/cool it, and...
The dealer in my area isn't doing mark-up pricing but I don't see why they couldn't try to mark up an order. That is why you put money down on it when you order ($500-$1000). If you pull out and they have to carry the loan on the vehicle while it sits on the lot, your down payment offsets that...
I've got an LE too and have been debating on the bull bar. I don't want to block the trail camera so I'm not sure either whether the low one is below the sight line of the camera or the taller one is high enough for the camera to look underneath it.
Agreed, I wasn't intending to charge from 0% - more of a trickle charge while driving around. Also depends on what solar option I take with me camping as one of my plans may have a solid mount solar panel that would work while driving, but another would only be used when we're stopped.
Once I'm burning dinosaurs to move my 200lb *cough* body with 5000lb of vehicle, the few percent loss from using the inverter is kind of moot for me. :)
