His small battery may already be dead or weakened. According to this guy, you need to hook two posts together in order to charge that small battery(4:50 time mark)
oof, that was one nice looking dually. I always leave my vehicles on battery tenders when they sit for extended periods of time. When I get back, I prop the hood up to unhook the charger and do a quick visual inspection under the hood.
Good to hear that they’re treating you well but I recently dropped my long time insurance(state farm) after they raised my rates to absurd levels. No accidents or tickets in decades, but I guess they need to blanket raise everyone’s rates to cover all the losses out west.
Great, another feature thats been around for decades(removable headrests) that the all-knowing Jeep engineers decided to reengineer for the worse. Thanks for the youtube hack, I am removing that metal clip asap.
kind of ridiculous that a $60k truck has this issue. I mean, visor tech hasn’t changed in decades so what did the Jeep engineers change on these visors to cause this failure?
OP mentioned in an earlier post, he paid for the Jeep. His words were, and i quote… “I didnt have GAP insurance due to the fact I did not have a loan.”
No, Guaranteed Asset Protection(GAP) insurance by definition covers the “gap” between what you owe on the car loan vs what insurance will payout in the event of a total loss.
If OP had taken out a loan for $70k and bought GAP insurance, he wouldn’t be in the predicament he’s in right now. Unfortunately, with his cash purchase he is taking 100% of the depreciation loss
I've bought numerous different dash cams from amazon for the past ten years(also for protection from psychos). But since I've got a dashcam on each of my vehicles, I tend to just buy the cheap $30-40 basic models. They all have G sensors on them that automatically save footage in the event of an...
Thats a nice looking truck. I was going to comment that I don’t think it would fit through that little garage door behind it. But then I noticed the bigger garage door in front!
What year was your wrangler? Ive had two JK wranglers and both hardtops were heavy and cumbersome to remove. I haven’t removed the hardtop on my Gladiator yet, but I can tell you, the freedom top panels weigh a lot less than my JK wranglers did.
Sounds like an Overland will fit your bill. And dont discount the off roading prowess of a non-rubi or mojave Jeep. They all wear the Trail rated badges for a reason.
The average cost of a new vehicle in the US is now $48k. For that, you can order a base model Rubicon, which is arguably the most capable, stock 4X4 vehicle for sale on the market. And a far cry from a $100k Jeep...
