Lol well first and most important, a wife with access to acrylic and a CNC. It's 1/4 in acrylic, painted with the orange Rust-Oleum I found then I covered the faces with black matte vinyl. For the adhesive, I found some 3m sheets on Amazon that I stuck the letters to and then cut out to get full...
I know, I know... There are a ton of threads on this already, but Hauk's version was boring and I didn't like that the one from limitless didn't match the mojave orange. I also wasn't crazy about the border and wanted more of a stealth look.
Long story short, I just made my own.
It's happening on my end as well, but I noticed when the display says "mute" on my phone it's actually paused. I'm using youtube music mostly, but same result. It's kind of annoying, but I guess it gives me a chance to make sure I didn't leave the volume up loud before it starts playing lol
So I've been wanting to add a couple orange accents on the outside and I ran to ACE yesterday to pick up the tractor paint someone else in the thread mentioned matched pretty well. When I got there, I saw a rustoleum one that I thought just might be a closer match and ended up grabbing both...
I used a 2x8 as that's what would be needed if you also ran the 2x4 across the wheel wells and hooked the tailgate to lie a 4x8 flat. I think it was 57 3/4 if i remember correctly and I cut off the bottom corners at an angle so it'd fit down in there.
I'm also on 35's with no lift, but I went with 20" rims instead of 17s. Goodyear wrangler ultra terrain 35x12.50 tires and I've noticed no additional road noise. I actually like the feel of these on the road a lot better than the stock falkens and I thought those felt pretty good.
Fancied up the 2x8 I had in the bed today. Didn't get into sanding it and all that though I kinda wish I would have, but at least it looks like it belongs now ?
Truth be told, I'd looked at vicious before, but this was the first time I'd ordered anything from them. It was a pleasant experience and they shipped out next day. When I grabbed the doors, they were $210 a set (front/rear) so figured what the hell. I'm pretty happy with them so far, just...
I like the simplicity in the design of those. I got a great deal on a set from vicious that came last week, but it's been raining pretty much non stop so I haven't got to put them on yet.
