Is that what he said?
On the JL the money factors are terrible. But the residuals are very good and even though the factory doesn't discount dealers are giving 5% off invoice. I am not sure what you mean by long terms.
Perhaps the Gladiator will be undesirable to lease for some. But every...
It is a combination of things. Just adding the tires to my JLU Sport S made a huge difference. But the hood, slight lift, and higher flares also contribute.
I'm convinced more than half of Rubicon buyers buy it just for the look.
We can hope that just like they leveraged their Ram platform expertise on the Gladiator they will leverage the offroad expertise of Jeep to make a nice off-road trim for the Dakota.

Order banks opened around November
Sting Gray became available on Feb 28.
I ordered Feb 29
Delivered to NC on April 30
I thought that was pretty good.
I definitely don't think they are trying to be all things to all buyers. They have a whole other brand (RAM) to do that.
This is more like if Toyota only sold TRD Pro Tacomas or GM only sold ZR2 Canyon/Colorados. Those brands hit every configuration because they are built on top of the...
We don't know anything about the Gladiator lease program yet.
My JLU is leased and it was a custom order.
The problem you run into is that the lease terms can change monthly and you won't know what they are until you take delivery. So that can be nerve-racking. The best you can do is get a...
Diesel towing will be less than the 3.6 (and of course no manual)

From the article:
The cooling needs presented a challenge: The 3.o-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine, available on the...
Thanks! That seems almost unbelievably optimistic. The whole segment is only around 500k units, and half of those are Tacomas. That incudes fleet sales too. I think 50,000 should be considered a hit for a niche truck like this.
I’m curious what will be considered a success for the Gladiator. Would 40,000 a year be a success?
It’s a catch-22 for 2-door fans. For them to even consider a 2-door some time down the line they need to have a hit with the 4-door. But if the 4-door is a hit, then why do they need a 2-door?
