  1. thinking of cancelling 22 rubi diesel order

I made the final decision to go with a Mojave over Diesel Rubicon for a few reasons. I don't want to lift, max of 35s, tow only a few times a year, only in the dead of summer (heat), don't need a front locker or disconnect swaybar, or the extremely low T-case. I DO drive in the snow and wanted...
  2. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

Thanks for the input and reality check. Order placed this morning for Mojave, with automatic 3.6.
  3. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

I'm 15 miles South of Boston. Quirk is the local, terrible place.
  4. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

Thanks, this is making me decision to go Mojave easier. Friend is a sales manager at dealer an hour away, and he is upfront about them getting no diesels. Local dealership is full of scum bags that lied over work on wife's Grand Cherokee. I only go there to test drive and waste their time.
  5. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

Neither dealer is a Dodge shop. One has ordered one diesel, hasn't been asked for another since. Piece of mind, Mojave package, and fact I drive 7k miles mostly around town a year is making me lean towards the 3.6. It is "fine" but nothing more. Also no diesel gas stations in my town that...
  6. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

Misc leaks, depowering/running hot issues. I don't love the idea of a dealer that sees no diesels doing service, repairing leaks, or anything else model specific. They are pretty complex engines.
  7. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

Yes, if I go gas I'll stick to Mojave, Rubicon probably if diesel, though I don't need or want the extra low 4low. Other plus of gas is full time 4wd option. I don't agree that dealers can't fix the 3.6. That engine is old as dirt now, very common, and proven to be pretty reliable. We've had 4...
  8. Would you buy the diesel if no local dealers were familiar with them?

My question is, if your local dealerships had experience with only one diesel order since introduction, nothing to test drive, unfamiliar on fixing them... Would you order? Both of my local options to buy, and more importantly service, don't typically order diesels. I worry potential repairs...
  9. 2022 New England Group Buy

I'm looking to order but holding for engine options. Do you know a good dealer? I know one in MA I could discuss with.
  10. Mopar M9C factory retro body graphics on my Gladiator. Anyone else?

Have you taken delivery yet? I'd love to see pics. This would certainly push me to a white JT with blue stripes.
  11. Feedback on which model is the best fit for me with the Diesel

I had 2015 JKU Sport stick with LSD and liked that, replaced with exact same but auto but missed LSD on the order and regretted it a lot, but only on street driving, usually on hard turns. I hear trucks are even worse with traction which is why I assumed essential. I think you are right...
  12. Feedback on which model is the best fit for me with the Diesel

Long story short, I really like the Mojave package (high clearance fenders, the ride, even the orange accents), but after driving it, think it is way short on power and leaning towards the diesel. I've only had a VW diesel in the past but did like it, and never a truck. There are NO diesels...
