In that respect, if one were to go with the 2.5" kit, can the stock Fox shocks still be used with shock extensions? I know for a fact, anything above that would need new shocks...

Did you get the Overland Plus or RideRight? I'm opting for the 3.5 Overland Plus (do it right the first time) with 37's... on my JTR.

I found it!! Search “Jeep Wrangler JK 4.5 Inch Lift Kit Installation”. It’s from the Clayton Off Road YouTube channel. At the 2:28 minute part, the installer talks about this exact issue. Sorry can’t paste the link here.

I saw a video on YouTube about this issue and the installer did the same thing and cut off the bolt.

Super! One more question... If I get the Mojave, will this RideRight 2.5 or 3.5 lift be ok to install using the factory FOX 2.5 shocks. Would hate to take off those FOX shocks... ? Really debating whether to go Mojave or Sport S... hard to decide (sorry, Jeep newb here, but learning alot...

I understand the philosophy behind the RideRight+... primarily for ON ROAD driving... but for occasional "light trail driving", still good to go? I don't intend to rock crawl or drive intense off road trails.
