I think what you are referring to are the led replacement bulbs. They are super bright and the halogen housings don't control the light properly. Several companies make a dot replacement light that replaces the entire thing not just the bulb
this is just my opinion on some of the options and It really depends on what you use it for, what you plan to upgrade, what you dont mind upgrading yourself and how long you plan on keeping it.
Max tow is a lot of bang for your buck and great if you plan on towing and/or adding bigger tires...
I think that washing the undercarriage is every bit if not more important than washing the top.. the underside is going to see all the salt, sand, mud, oil and other nasties that your top wont see.. its especially important if you go anywhere thats salts the roads… ill even use the spray wax on...
I didnt want to modify my axles either… thats why i have been looking at the tereflex links… i cannot speak from experience but looking at the install instructions it doesn’t look like you have to modify the axles for those
Are they the factory wheels?? If not could you put your factories back on to see if the vibration goes away.. if they are not factory wheels are they hub-centric? if not you might try some hub-centric rings.. Have you had them double check the balance?
I would buy a base even if i couldn't mod it… really the main thing i don't like about the base is the tires. Tires are wear items that will have to be replaced eventually. Put a more aggressive tread and maybe a little larger and all is good. With the base you still get a very capable...
Yeah, with +25 it would be perfect IMO, it would fill out the wheel wells without spilling over too much… and the 315s would prob just stick out as much as these do now but would be fine with the bigger tires… now i just have to save up for some new wheels
I went with the 0 offset with the 285s and the tread pokes out about 1/2”. It will poke out even more when i upgrade to the 315s.. in my opinion, A little poke looks good but in hindsight I wish i would have gone with the +25, they would have been about perfect…
I have the 5” screen and put in kicker 3.5s in the dash and sound bar and kicker 4s in the sound bar.. they were borderline cheap, took about 10 minutes to install and are a night and day difference on the highs and mids. Still needs a sub for the lows. Just for simplicity i ordered the kicker...
This is just my opinion but i say buy a very very nice set of impact sockets first and then buy the nicest you can with the money you have left in the budget. All the top brands make good/great impacts, you almost cant go wrong but a shitty socket will ruin your night
We had to replace the ess bat in the wifes pacifica when it was just 1.5 yrs old... not a jeep but same engine. Those ess batteries are little motorcycle style batteries and every motorcycle battery ive owned (and its a lot of them) didnt last long unless they are on a trickle charger. Problem...
i only got the bedliner not the floor mats https://www.smartliner-usa.com/products/smartliner-rugged-rubber-floor-mats-for-2020-2021-jeep-gladiator?variant=32912937255021
I went with the smartliner on the bed.. it fit perfect came up on the edges so its less likely to get stuff underneath provides a little cushion so less likely to get dents in the bed and its very grippy so things dont slide around. The downside is its almost too grippy, there is no sliding...
If you dont mind turning a wrench you can buy all the pieces of the bumper separately and assemble it yourself for a lot cheaper. I bought one off of ebay that was not as described and was pretty much junk. So i found it cheaper to just buy the parts.. i reused the tow hooks from my sport which...
