After seeing the pick of the black one mentioned in this thread, it solidified my selection for the non-painted hard top. I plan to ride soft top/topless from June - October but when winter hits that’s just more paint surface to manage. One of my main reasons I didn’t go with the LE.
Gotcha - I’ll check with my dealer regarding the type of order they’re entering it as...as far as the affiliate pricing, yes I’m friends with my sales rep and my dealer is also my client so they are extending the affiliate pricing discount. Couldn’t justify a build like this at full MSRP!
Yup, my dealer contacted me Friday night and said he was putting orders in yesterday morning...kinda went overboard! I went back and forth on the upgraded wheels, and after seeing the one posted in this thread I’m really glad I did. Now to start ordering some Mopar accessories :)
After they announced the Launch Edition I went out and purchased a Racon ceiling mount lift (based on a previous thread I was pointed to on the Wrangler forum) and hoping this will be a good 1-man solution for removing the Gladwagon top using straps...now I just need to buy a longer ladder to...
Checked the Jeep site that showed a few in transit...as of this morning, this one is supposedly sitting in Plattsburgh, NY at the dealer - https://www.durocherauto.com/new/Jeep/2020-Jeep-Gladiator-plattsburgh-ny-3ef22edc0a0e0ae701adb4cb0baebbc6.htm
My dealer hit me up, said they have 3 pre-spec orders coming in so the Gladiators are on their way! Can’t wait til they open up ordering as these builds aren’t what I’m looking for.
Apparently it’s not included but it’s required...when you select the Dual Top (at least on the Rubicon) it creates a conflict and says the tonneau cover must be added, but then it jacks up the price of the package to $2790.
Ha, I just went through this with my dealer and the math wasn't adding up...$1195 for the Hard Top and $595 for the Freedom Top...where's the other $505 if the package costs $2295 ? >>> It also includes the Tonneau cover (which is listed for $495, so Jeep is making $10 on us here! ;))
That's badass and makes a ton of sense with the height of your ceilings. I move quickly, already ordered the Racon and it arrives Saturday...hopefully can have it done by Sunday evening (got 2 warm weekend days of spring skiing to tend to first!) - seems like a great option with my higher ceilings.
I actually spent some more time clicking around and this morning on the pre-order site, there's a line:
Heated Black Leather Seats with Leather Wrapped Dash
>>> and then looking at the Cold Weather Package, the Remote Starter IS included in that package for automatics.
*Apologies for my...
Newbie here, just put my deposit down for a new Gladiator yesterday (trading over from a '14 SRT) - what's going to be the best hard top hoist setup? My garage is 32' x 24' with 11'6" ceilings. Plenty of room to add a hoist...I'd prefer to run the cable/crank down the right side of my wall, OR I...
My dealer feels that for whatever reason, he's going to be able to order this for me tomorrow...we'll see there, otherwise he's got 4/8 pegged as the order date. He said "June" is when I should expect arrival but that's still TBD based on when ordering opens up. And YES, I signed up for...
The Launch edition doesn't include the Cold Weather Group ($995) which is a must for Vermont winters, along with the Remote Start ($495). I went back and forth on the color-matching top and my dealer talked me out of it (and since I'm going with black, I'm happy not to have to wax that sucker!)...
I just got back from my dealer here in Burlington, VT and put down $1000 deposit...coming from a loaded 2014 SRT so I kinda went overboard ($61,120) with my build! The only thing I didn't go with were the slush mats and color matching top ;)
Can't wait til...June?
