I tried to install all three together, and found they don't fit. Specifically the JCR Molle Panels have a bracket which is supposed to sit between the bed, and the bed rails. This pushes both bedrails inwards 1/8" and causes the bed rails to be 1/4" too narrow to fit the Artec Cross Members...
Mine was at final inspection starting December 18th...checked 2x a week until last week they created escalation ticket for me because it shouldn't have sat there that long. The very next day it was scheduled for shipping :/
Since I haven't found skids for a diesel yet, I'll likely be making my own. I made a belly skid for my old WJ, and it was all 1/4" steel which was strong, but HEAVY :/
I agree it seems logical, but I could see other small changes affecting it such as:
1) Weight of transmission? If so that is more balanced F/R.
2) Distribution of engine over front axle (is it biased to the rear?)
3) Were other items relocated (it is fairly common to see batteries no longer...
I saw in another thread from a lift manufacturer (forgot which one) that they said the 400 lbs was fairly evenly distributed front/rear. Do you know otherwise or just speculating?
Unless you're using it to redirect a pull, then the only time you would use a snatch block is when the regular winch isn't sufficient - and at that point you're already exceeding the WLL of the snatch block.
Don't want to see one of those breaking on ya so stay safe regardless of which...
If whatever you're pulling is stuck in mud, behind a rock, a ledge, etc...those can all cause you to pull more than the vehicle weighs. I'd say that is too lite-duty of a snatch block. Seems more suited for side-by-sides and smaller pulls.
Yes, but not looking for the one that goes over the cab - just the bed rack. Or is that $1,799.95 for a single one - in which case can you elaborate why they're so expensive? Even $1,799.95 for both seems really expensive so trying to understand why.
Thanks,
Ryan
Y'all have listed the height of a Rubicon as 73" (which is what I just measured at the dealership), but the jeep.com website lists it as 76.1" - anyone know about 3" difference? Worried I missed a roof top antenna - or does the regular AM/FM antenna stick up 76" perhaps?
