I towed a Uhaul from San Diego to Kayenta, AZ and back. I averaged about 10 mpg FFS and it killed my rear axle position sensor, which took about 7 months for Jeep to get the part. Everything still worked but teh Jeep was telling me the rear was trying to lock. Fun stuff! Next time it fails i'm...
it's our caveman brains the want the throaty rumble and epic sounds a V8 product. Its an American sound. A loud muffler V6 or 4 banger sounding like a bee or a zipper can be very annoying. A jeep shouldn't sound like a tuner. HAHAHAHA Ugh, The v6 F150 Raptors sound so bad.
Exactly, it can get to a point really fast where you have to start looking at shocks, driveshafts, steering links, track bars ................................... Jeep makes it easy to fall into the rabbit hole. I'd love a bumper and winch but realistically, will i ever even need it? i had one...
This is what i have been looking at. I don't want to lose teh factory Rubi ride. I like the way it feels. I have been on some trail that the stock height doesn't clear. I also want to correct any geometry changes so i have been thinking of spacers and front LCA's and shock relocation brackets...

Mine squeaked too. It took 5 dealer visits for them to even find it. I had to go on the test drive with the master mechanic. He heard it within 1 block. then it took 4 visits all with the deal having my jeep allday only to find out:
1. they didnt have thE shocks twice
2. they had the wrong...
I only go to the deal if the work is free. If its getting F'd up it might as well be by me, for free and not overpaying the certified technician to do it at the dealer.
true, i only know about the shock bolts because, after a year, I was was seriously committing to just giving up and buying my own shocks. Even the parts manager didn't know teh new part number. I got it from this forum and gave it to him. I think Benny gave me the part number.
My steering...
